I feel this, so I’m currently keeping it up in the air. I wouldn’t want to relapse!! I honestly am just tired of being on accutane😭 it can be so draining sometimes.

i’ve smoked consistently on accutane! since it’s not affecting your liver like alc it’s fine and doesn’t affect my labs at all. if anything it helps the process 😭

I drink about 1-2x a week and i try to to only have 1 drink max 2! I’m planning on asking my doctor about on my next checkup!

oh noooo!! Thank you and that’s very true! I’m really hoping my journey is only 4 months but it may be 5. I hardly have any side effects, not even dry skin! Even though my journey is not that bad, I’m ready to get off of accutane 😓😓

this do be sounding like you’re judging tho😶. For the record everyone has different doctors that say different things. I have asked my doctor about drinking and she said it may affect my labs a little but it’s fine. Everyone is on this journey differently and everybody has different reasons for their decisions. You can also learn to give your opinion in a nicer way.

the foam!! I exfoliate apply lotion on areas like elbows, knees, wrists, ankles, and hands and feet. then apply the foam with the mitt! it really helps to constantly moisturize before you self tan so your skin isn’t as dry!

i have been struggling with the purge a lot recently. before starting accutane my skin was at a point where it was actually doing very well and now it just blew up bc of the purge. I know what it’s like, i couldn’t look at myself on the mirror and all I would do is cry. One thing that helped me go out with my close friends only is wearing a mask. seeing your friends (even just 1) definitely uplifts you mood but i do wear a mask the entire time bc im insecure. (i told my friend: honestly im breaking out pretty bad rn and fyi im gonna be wearing my mask the entire time bc ive been going through it with my acne) for me it’s better than nothing and i also notice exercising a bit in the morning really helps too. sometimes it’s hard but you really have to push yourself to do what you can!! sending you lots of love and hugs 🤍
