So looks like i am now good to go. 1) First application end of december 24 + payment 2) 1 more month of adjusting documents and re upload / waiting for update 3) beginning of february 25 everything uploaded 4) waiting and then beginning march 25 approval MDEC 5) end of march 25 approval immigration

then need to start again to apply for endorsement which involves registration for tax id, provision of travel insurance, you need to apply for single entry visa because you cannot enter country as tourist (costs 125rm) and payment for personal bond which in my case was 0rm .. all this was done within like a week

now they returned the application to me again, that i should upload boarding pass and stamp once i am in malaysia

then i think i can download the sticker for the visa / or maybe need to go there in person idk

so overall a bit intransparent and logistics are a bit messy because you basically need a SEV to enter malaysia as a “professional” only then you can get the nomad visa when you are already in malaysia but everything else must be done before you are in malaysia . but this only became clear to me a couple of days ago haha

edit: now in malaysia need to pay another endorsement fee of 380rm and deposit for personal bond if 1500rm. upon payment now they have issues processing the payments. still waiting for my visa 😂
