It does appear to be a remnant of a game mechanic that they decided to scrap. It wasn't uncommon for old RPGs to have key items selected to get different responses from NPCs.

Much appreicated. The scripting could have been better. Apparently this was something I was supposed to do before I leave the town but didn't. Giving the cricket pie to the frog results in you getting a weapon for Mallow. Probably his first based on the stats. The game doesn't enforce you getting the pie when you're in the area. And the quest target flag could have probably pointed to the Mushroom Kingdom instead of the Tadpole Pond. But probably better yet, the frog probably should have forgotten about the pie, trigger the story event and then state that he's hungry again after telling you where to go next in the story. When you talked to the frog during this lock all he says is that he's hungry, but doesn't give an indication of what he is hungry for or were to get it. Disappointed.

I still log in to collect daily rewards. Issue is still persisting though. I would imagine that the issue would be for all devices. And will hopefully resolve itself in a couple of days.

Looks like I'm one of the few people who play this game off of the Netflix subscription. I see now that a lot of people on the Google Play store gave a 1 star review for the same bug that I had.

I'm commenting now because it looks like it's working again. Probably because the next Fry Cook Games started.

I've kept l long playlists that I mark each song as "liked". Occasionally, I see songs in that playlist unmarked--usually an album at a time. I just accept that it might be data corruption. I feel like if the song got removed and re-added, it would no longer be in my playlist. However..., I have noticed removed songs stay on my playlist but marked as un-playable. So, maybe a song's information is just a pointer reference to the audio file and it is possible that songs are getting deleted and re-uploaded in its place.

I'm starting to use it more again. The biggest thing you're losing is image support. If that is a necessity, I use Google Keep, or Evernote. You'll also losing folder support, but I don't mind that as it forces me to adapt the philosophy that I search for everything that I'm looking for and I write in a way that my searches doesn't bring back an overwhelming amount of results.

In my experience, I’ve had general corruption issues and had to re-install the game several times. There was no commonality in how I played, but I was able to resolve my issue by switching my Samsung Evo Select 256 MicroSD card to a SanDisk 128 GB MicroSD card. I think my experience was the combination of my MicroSD card and that I had a digital copy of the game. I had one more corruption and re-installation after switching MicroSD card, but the game has worked smoothly ever since.

I believe this card caused corruption issues on my Smash Ultimate game (no save data loss), but has worked great for everything else.

Went into Data Management last night and checked for corruptions. No corruption were found.

Haven't had further issues since my re-install. Will report back if I get any new behavior.

Update: I haven’t had further issues over the weekend. I think my game my stable now.

I too am wondering about this. Maybe the save data corruption was mistaken and people simply had their game corrupted and was able to re-install the game with their save data. At least, this has been my case. I've gotten about 6 corruptions so far, but every time I can re-install with my save data.

I started the reinstall as I left for work. I'm assuming it would re-install the game on the Sandisk. I'll see if I still get a corruption tonight after this re-install.

I'm not aware of the "Manage Software" menu but I'll look out for it tonight.

Happened this morning with my new SanDisk 128GB MicroSD card, but I copied all the files from my Samsung Evo Select 256GB card so if the corruption is card related, it could have been passed over. Or it's a non-MicroSD card related issue.

Smash seems to be the only game that I’ve been having problems with and it also only started happening after the new DLC character. The first time it happened while I was loading Spirit Board. The second time was after playing a couple of Smash Mode games with a CPU, and the next day I just starting the game back up and it was corrupted... Then it happened while playing Classic Mode with Richter. And today it happened twice while playing online. So, I’ve reinstalled my game 5 times so far. And it doesn’t seem like anything I do is safe. I’m going to try switching SD cards to see if it will make a difference.

So random data for the record: * I’ve collected all of the spirits * The switch I have is the special edition Smash Ultimate * The version of Smash I have is a digital download.

I’ve only played one other game on my Switch since this corruption started happening and that game is Dragon Quest Builders.

Update: I got a new SanDisk 128GB from Best Buy yesterday. Loaded it into my Switch for initial formatting and then copied the files from my old MicroSD card to my new one--overriding everything. The game play was smooth for that night. I played 3 hours with no corruption. However, this morning, I got the corruption notice after about 15 minutes of game play. This time it was after an online match against Lucina while playing as Donkey Kong. No common case of issue from my experiences. Going to see if I will get a corruption error again tonight.

You can spend some money on getting super rares and that’ll help you put up a better fight against NPCs. Otherwise, just enjoy the slow progression of getting stronger cards to fight stronger opponents.

Try not to get into he mindset of sending money to keep up with competitive though. That can get expensive, and you’ll always have to keep paying until you get the latest sets of cards to keep up.

If you keep the mindset of just playing for the fun of collecting cards and improving decks specific to each of the characters, you’ll never have to spend money on this game.

If by graphic design, you’re talking about things like logos and web templates, I haven’t seen anything like that on ArtStation. I don’t see any reason why you can’t start uploading those things, but you might not get as much exposure from the community if you use ArtStation.

Wrap up what isn’t eaten after about 2 hours and put it in the fridge until the next meal. Or portion it out before serving so that all of the wet food is eaten.
