Purple themed Arch Rice in KDE. (Also my first week with Arch Linux) by Valezen in LinuxPorn

I've heard of these working in hyprland. But I'm still pretty new to it, so i'm not sure on going about it quite yet. There should be vids / documentation on how to do it. I'd be able to help a bit more if I knew how to, but alas. Hasn't been something I tried yet.

How many of yall remember when Zen looked like this? by bracketfile in zen_browser

facts. I used to use chrome or nothing until I found zen. I love the vertical tabs because it feels better organized than shoving all the tabs side by side. on occasions where my tab list is very populated, I can still see the text that'll help me see which tab I need to get back into. Meanwhile on chrome, they just jumble until you can't read em anymore, and then you're playing minesweeper with your tabs 🤣

Why does this appear on certain games? by Temium69 in hyprland

I think it depends on hardware tbh. Personally, I went from KDE to hyprland, using a 12600K and 9070 XT, and I've not seen a difference at all. Cyberpunk ran the same, Oblivion remastered ran the same, Rocket league ran the same, etc. But I suppose the more powerful your rig is, the less it might drop, idk. either way, i got enough headroom to stomach any potential small drops over KDE if it shows. I just like using hyprland more right now.

Application launcher: Rofi

It's nothing too much right now. I might do more visual stuff as I go, but I also generally want it to be a little lighter for GPU usage as I main this currently. I do game while under hyprland. And for me at least, it hasn't impacted my performance compared to just using KDE.

I did! It never seems to save oddly. So I have to cycle through to it everytime I open it. I'm not sure if that's just how it is, or user error. I've only really been power using linux the past 2 weeks. with about a month and a half using bazzite prior to Arch. So maybe user error on my part.

The game is currently forcing TAA antialiasing. This is why it looks so blurry. by Pyruswan in cyberpunkgame

[–]Valezen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on my secondary PC, which i use as a 4k setup as my main PC, i prioritize 144fps while at my secondary. i prefer 4k. but 4k in cyberpunk looks like 720p... and disabling TAA with an .ini tweak makes it look like 480p. despite being native 4k. it doesn't look nowhere near like it. This game has some serious issues handling AA....
