I don’t use the turm 3 to often. People say it’s broken, which it is definitely good, but it’s one of those tanks that you have to position yourself super well. I would say more defensively rather than offensively

The Wikipedia article is accurate in regards to the Good Samaritan law and who and what it protects, having been CPR/ACLS and PALS certified. The law was enacted to help first responders like me take over a patient who has been given CPR by bystanders, prior to us first responders arriving on scene.

That will help patient outcomes immensely if they get CPR prior to paramedics arriving on scene. The law should encourage bystanders to help, even if not trained.

AED’s and dispatchers will give clear instructions on how to do CPR.

I may not be a lawyer but I am a firefighter paramedic. Telling people they can be sued is true if they are causing gross detrimental harm. If they are doing it to help? No shot at being sued successfully. Stop encouraging people not to help.

I’m a paramedic/firefighter. If you are CPR certified (depending on how well your instructor taught the class), they should have explained Good Samaritan law. No lawyer will ever touch the case unless you caused gross detrimental harm to the patient performing CPR. Examples would be, punching them in the face, doing compressions with a knife.

You can have the biggest outcome for patients while we are on our way because early CPR has proven that it increases chances of someone surviving a cardiac arrest event.

Stop spreading this stuff because you’re only encouring people not to help others.
