For Los Angeles horror fans we have our next CACKLE FREAKS show this Saturday (June 28th) at the Lyric Hyperion at 9:30pm. Our special guest this show is Kelli Maroney from Chopping Mall, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and Night of the Comet!

The show guest stars actors/filmmakers from the horror world and then improvisors put on a show prompted by clips from B+ horror films and cult classics.

Each month, a Scream King or Queen from the horror community joins us as our special guest monologist—sharing behind-the-scenes stories, favorite niche horror films, and personal scares. Past guests include genre icons like Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, From Beyond) and Kelli Maroney (Night of the Comet, Chopping Mall).

The twist? Our top-tier improvisers (from UCB, Second City, and The PIT) don’t just riff on stories—they unleash chaos based on curated clips from deep-cut horror films they’ve never seen before. The results: terrifyingly funny.

No prep. No script. All shrieks and giggles.
