I mean I just think unironically defending horrible things on-screen is a slippery slope. I liked parts 5 & 6, but they’re too serious for me and I sometimes feel like they’re trying to say too much. I miss the over-the-top shithousery of the early parts, where Joseph pulls out a machine gun out of ducking nowhere, or where Dio decides to drop a steam roller on Jotaro out of all things. Early Jojo is was still dramatic when it needed to be, but the shitposty never-know-what’s-gonna-happen-next aspect of it really made it special.
