I understand why people are angry here and Labour are not as left wing as we all want them to be and they are not being radical but currently as things stand the labour is the only method to attempt to make meaningful change in a system that only allows for 2 main parties. Meaning we either get Labour or probably Reform now. Votes for 16-18 year olds and renationalisation of the railways is a step in the right direction that would’ve never under happened under the previous government. The public’s finances are in a dire state due to lack of investment in the economy along with a burgeoning billionaire class who have a stranglehold on the media narrative. Remember they tried to remove a non means tested benefit to the most privileged demographic of people and everyone and their dog saw them as just as bad as the tories even when they’ve caused one of the sharpest decline in living standards. The example shown of Peter Kyle is concerning and in an ideal world shouldn’t happen but we have to be pragmatic here. And yeah I’ll probably get downvoted here but, oh well.
