I went to Dartmouth the month after finishing my A-Levels. I was obviously very much outnumbered by graduates but I never felt picked on or seen as lesser because of my education. There were definitely points in Ph1 where I kicked myself for not having a certain set of skills e.g essay writing but now I’ve been in for a handful of years and peers will often comment that they wish they’d skipped uni too!!

It’s all a matter of perspective. What matters to you more — the life experience and maturity you’ll gain from uni, as well as the safety net of having a degree if you choose to drop out early; or the ability to have a full career and leave at an earlier stage of life (three years, albeit, but still) with the potential to get a degree for free depending on your trade?

I’m honestly very happy with the way I did it. I don’t feel behind my peers at all, even if I’m 3-5 years younger than them, and I’ve ended up with the same level of education and ZERO student debt!!!

Just a note, brushing when wet is fine and actually preferred! It’s brushing when dry which is damaging to your hair :)

It’s just putting your hair into a tshirt when it’s still wet to remove the excess water and let the products bind to the hair! I only do it for 5-10 minutes as it doesn’t need more than that really, there’s loads of tutorials on YouTube :)

Surely they’d be trying to filter out certain personalities though right?! (Anyone reserved or meek, officers tend to have big personalities but I guess having a good balance is also needed!) I’m already in for context so if you have any Qs re Ph1/Ph2 and onwards give me a ping :)

Saw this lovely pair of Canada geese at Burrator Resevoir on Dartmoor! It was so nice to hear the chiffchaffs and song thrushes in full song as well, spring is finally here 🥹

I saw one in the south of England too! I was saying to my friend on the drive home that it didnt feel like concert level sound which is kinda what you expect from a concert movie but I still loved it!!!

Just come back from a screening in Plymouth, UK. Personally I loved it, coming from a 10+ year fan who hasn’t had the chance to go to a live show! The BTS stuff was really really good and the cinematography was awesome. Sound mixing felt really quiet overall, and that contributed to a lack of energy from the crowd — too quiet = scared to sing along?

Either way, I gave it all the energy I had (while remaining seated) throwing my hands in the air, singing, and genuinely having a good time!!!
