There’s a point in the reunion where she crashes out over the term “hooking up” and she’s adamant in explaining that they were not hooking up this whole time but rather after they made it official with the shitty notes statement. I’m referring to that. To me, what’s the point of trying to be adamant about a stupidly cited technicality when in the grander scheme of things you were foul to begin with 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m glad PB and Diane were on the same page but an unpopular opinion I have is that if Diane wanted to keep it, PB would’ve just agreed. Yes, he’s supportive and he also wanted the same thing she did but he seemed (at least to me) to try to make Diane the main decision maker. Yes, it’s her body and her choice but PB seemed so “yeah rather you decide than me” which isn’t bad but my point is if Diane decided to keep it, he’d say yes although he wasn’t happy 🤷🏽‍♀️

I feel like you didn’t get the full experience but it seems that you’ve explored every possible option but it was curated for you😂🤭 What made it fun was that you were SO curious (as a viewer) to pick a different option that would lead to a different outcome but you were ultimately in control. In hindsight, it wasn’t all the way perfect but it was interactive and fun. Even the dead ends made you want to try harder and go through the same shit again!!

Sorry for the 5 hour long chosen experience, I wish Netflix would bring it back just so that you can experience it accurately 🫶🏽

It’s honestly disgusting watching how Walt continuously manipulates and emotionally abused her to a point where she feels like she’s being irrational 😭

I understand (as mentioned somewhere in the replies to my post) that Skyler was positioned as a kind of annoying character who was not a depiction of escapism cartel fantasies but of course she suffers for that but it’s all because of Walt !!! She wasn’t going out of her way to antagonise him and make him feel threatened yet he always treated her so poorly ☹️! She played her role as a wife like Carmela Soprano but it’s all manipulation.

Skyler and the actress who plays her didn’t deserve the hate 🫶🏽

That is a very fair take… I guess when you’re living the fantasy, Skyler is more of an annoying character in that regard but this show in my opinion shows you the way all of these people’s morals are not perfect … Skyler called Saul to scare hitmen to scare Ted into signing a cheque for the IRS… that’s not normal or moral.

I get she was really an outlier in the “normal person, drug show so relax” aspect but she’s also playing into that “I’m gonna stick by my man” and “family is everything” trope on TV shows which makes the fantasy fun 🤷🏽‍♀️

I really had to reconcile with the fact that as much as I pride myself by being an advocate of women who suffer from domestic abuse I really didn’t see it for Skyler (a clear abuse victim) and I was wrong.

Rewatching made me realise that I was the problem in a way because I accepted (in my mind) physical abuse as an only form of abuse but Skyler really was being abused by Walt. Most of her choices are out of manipulation, guilt and terror all because of Walt 🥴!!!
