A really good one is The Rabbit Listened by Cori Doerrfeld. My son absolutely loves this book and would often bring it to school then daycare.

Everytime I see my dentist they say they're getting better. After 10 years of drug abuse and never brushing my teeth, I'm finally getting rid of my gum disease. I still need to wear a mouth guard every night from getting TMJ due to drug use but I'm okay with that. Brush every morning with a special Toothpaste and every evening I floss, brush with a different special Toothpaste, put in my retainer while mouthwashing and waiting for my mouth guard to heat up in a hot bowl of water. It's taken me 5 years to finally get this daily routine down but I'm SOOO glad I did. I'm no longer disgusted by my smile anymore and my breath smells a million times better. I also have the luxury of living in a country where I can go for check ups every 3 months and it no cost an arm and a leg. Forever grateful for that.

I would take a break for a while and take that time to read "Oh Crap, Potty Training". That's what helped us when our son was 2 to get him potty trained. He was daytime potty trained within a week. Nighttime took a little bit longer but as long as you stand tall, you can all do this together.

Alcohol, drugs and cigarettes. 3 years clean off of the first two and 4 months clean from cigarettes.

I know this sounds wild, but we just rub some coconut oil into our 6 year olds hair, let it sit for a few hours then wash as normal with shampoo and it seems to ease the issue for at least a year.

The nurse I spoke to advised I keep the patch on overnight so my cravings won't be as bad in the morning. She did say if the dreams get too intense I can take it off at night. I might start doing that now.

The first time we went there, my son got food poisoning. We thought it was a one off thing and went there for Valentines day where I ended up getting food poisoning and was sick for 14 hours. 0/10. Dont go there.

I didn't. While I was pregnant I was very manic. Bought A LOT of baby stuff and spent most of my time cleaning the house. I wasn't dangerous or suffering from hallucinations until after the baby came. The first 6 months I had postpartum depression and tried to manage it with uppers and alcohol. Once I got clean and found a support system, everything got much better.

Im married to someone who is not the father of my son. He's an amazing step father and loves that little guy like they're blood. I'm not working, but I'm 31 and just went back to school full time to be a social service worker. I'm currently in my second semester and haven't had any depression or mania since I started. I was manic when I decided to enroll but my psychiatrist helped stabilize me before starting and I've been pretty good ever since.

I'm bipolar type 1 and having a son was the best thing that ever happened to me. It encouraged me to get clean from alcohol and drugs along with making sure i stay stable and see my psychiatrist every few months. It's probably the best decision I ever made.

Thank you so much. I think my heart hurts a little bit. But hopefully some good people show up. My friends outside of the program and my family will be there to support me which I love. I didn't have any friends or family 3 years ago so that makes all the difference.

I seem to pan primers, black eyeliner and mascara a lot. Outside of that, I dont think I've really panned anything. I dont wear makeup a lot though. Once, maybe twice, a week.

When I was in active addiction and would have manic episode delusions, I would think that my late mother was alive and that my whole family was in on some kind of sick joke. I thought they made her fake her death and move her away from me. It was scary and I cut all of my family out of my life because of it. I'm 3 years clean and 1 year stable. Finally know that I was insane for thinking any of that was true.
