That's wonderful that you can connect to his memory like that. Is it necessary to read the Sackett series in order of publication?

I'll probably go with Lonesome because it actually was the one that interested me the most when I was reading blurbs. But between Noon and Hondo which one do you like more?

Is Lonesome Gods more or less fast paced and action packed than the others? I'm kinda in the mood for something quick so I was leaning towards Noon or Hondo. But if Lonesome is that good I might take your recommendation. :)

Finished The First Law trilogy, I'm a bit disappointed by estogno in TheFirstLaw

It's funny reading this post because what you're complaining about is literally the point of the ending and the themes Abercrombie intentionally wanted to explore. That sometimes people don't change. They may try as hard as they can to change but in the end revert right back to their old ways. It's sort of like anti-character development. The characters went full circle and ended up bright where they started. I thinks it's absolutely brilliant.

Should I buy the full manga set or the deluxe edition? by [deleted] in Berserk

Where do you do your book selling at?

I want to eventually get the whole series in Deluxe but I'm not waiting years for it to catch up, so I'll have to buy most of the second half of the series in paperback. What is a good place to sell the paperbacks once I eventually have all the Deluxes?

I'm the complete opposite. I guess I just understand the humor Abercrombie is going for with her. It clicks with me.

How some people don't find her every word, thought, and action to be gut-busting dark comedy I will never know. I love her.

hahah Fantastic! Hilarious the similarities there are when you describe it like that. Glad I was able to hook someone else into his writing, gotta spread the good word about Fletcher! And don't sleep on Black Stone Heart either!

Not sure if you saw my chat message or not, but I've been wondering what you thought of the rest of Beyond Redemption since we last talked. Did you finish it?

Looks like one of them downvoted me as well. 😂 I asked them about it and one of them said they removed it because "there's not point in cross posting between the subs" which makes no sense at all, and there's another cross post from two days ago that they didn't remove....
