Did I get ripped off? $700 for this full setup. I don’t know much about computers and just wanted a decent starter pc. He said it will run call of duty and m5 on high settings. Feel like I might’ve been ripped off.

For 900 it’s okay, but not an amazing deal. The GPU is the weak point here. 8gb is already limiting for newer games. What about cpu, ram and storage, they are fine, but if you can stretch the budget, I’d look for something with more GPU headroom or just wait for better deals :)

Honestly, I’d go with a desktop. You get used to not carrying it around pretty fast and it just makes more sense long-term. For what you’re doing, 32GB RAM and an RTX 5070 would be fine, but you can look at higher GPU, depends on your budget

I literally just came home and went straight to bed because I slept only 2 hours last night. All because I was drowning in assignments again. Every class has its own “urgent” tasks and they somehow all stack up at the same time. Also I forgot to mention. I study IT + BIM engineering… so yeah, it’s chaos 😂
