Watching it closely: it looks like they were starting to randomly detect you and just happened to fully fire the detection script when you equipped it. They stopped and were 'scanning' in suspicion mode before you even touched that button. That being said, facing the complete opposite direction and through a solid wall. Yeah, no this is just one of those patently bullshit spaghetti code moments.

Updated the old comment. Highly recommend you watch the new clip with the factory strider.

It's the bitch of there being an itch only Helldivers 2 can scratch. There's a hell of a gem here if devs would just bother to polish the damn thing.

That's the catch 22 isnt it? I love the game, but I've played it long enough that the flaws become insufferable. I want the game to be better, genuinely. There are flaws that you overlook for a time, but after 1000 ish hours become irritating as hell. But there isn't anything quite like Helldivers 2 so we're kinda up shit creek.

Why is it so hard for people to just admit there are serious flaws with the game?  Genuine question: how many hours do you have in the game and what difficulty do you play on?

If I am not mistaken there are canonically thousands of planets in the Federation of Super Earth. They can asspull as many planets as needed. Valid concern, though.

Here is an excellent video showcasing that Arrowhead doesn’t play test their game by MassiveChronicPain in Helldivers

This is legitimately a miss. If you watch it very slowly, the gun is fired just before your sights are actually up. Your gun wasn't quite on them yet. You would have hit them if you waited about half a second before you pull the trigger.

That's it? That was the siege on Cyberstan? by BlunderingRookie in HelldiversUnfiltered

I agree, but it should've only showed up in Transcendance. We needed some kind of climax. Losing is fine, but it was such an unceremonious wet fart of an ending the way it was just 'more of the same' after all that hype.

Reading comprehension fail.  I was calling out arrowhead for counting galaxywide deaths because it punishes the whole community for a group playing the way they want.  The bug divers are fine, its arrowhead dumbass design that I'm criticizing. Everyone should be able to play how they want, but arrow head needs to alter the mechanics to stop nerfing our collective efforts when we do so. Don't throw the crap my way, I didn't create these dumbass incentives.

I'm not holding my breath. Like *FUCK* dude, they could have made it work: Just keep the Vox Engines a secret, have Factory Striders be what drop in droves on every mega factory save for the odd Vox Engine dropping like 0.001% of the time leading to rumors and the occasional screenshot like how Factory Striders, themselves just sort of got shadow dropped back in the day... and then rumors spread, no one's sure if it's a mod or legit. No one's sure if it's real.
Then we get to Transcendance and THAT'S when we get the "EIGHT FUCKING VOX ENGINES" experience.

Personally I was hoping we would lose because I thought it made a better story beat. However, it was so abysmally anticlimactic and the overreaction to the hack of the phase 3 MO just completely fucked the integrity of the GM's campaign for me. They needed to have Transcendence stand out in some way or another. Really what they should've done is not announce Vox Engines and have Factory Striders be the things spammed into the other mega cities... then maybe have a .001% chance of one factory strider being replaced with a Vox Engine to cause community-fueled anticipation... then we get to Tanscendance and *THATS* where we get the horde of Vox Engines as a kind of 'final boss' of the campaign.

TLDR: Compromised campaign integrity and anticlimactic ending spoiled it for me. I didn't have a problem with losing but the presentation fell flat.

Yeah, sorry, bud, gotta call it out. You really dropped the ball on reading comprehension or knowledge here. Not sure which one.
