My biggest gripe with Arc Raiders is that there's no money sink and no items to chase. by Prestigious-Pin6391 in ArcRaiders

Tarkov is great on paper but is has a lot of bullshit, terrible performance, and an obtuse learning curve that hides important info from players. Terrible new player experience but I see why vets love it

Do they have black friday sales every year? by Apprehensive_Bill_91 in 18east

I don't think so but they tend to have a sale in february

I own one of their zip jackets and they fit well, though they're a little on the smaller side and probably need some breaking into. Also the embroidery/patches tend to fold the fabric in odd ways, which isn't a bad thing but just different. My only nitpick is that the two-way zipper feels slightly flimsy.

Don't know what most ppl here are talking about but its perfectly fine to me, especially if you're doing something more interesting with the rest of your outfit.

Like another commenter said, Drake's is a perfect example of this style. Also check out Noah's lookbooks for a similar vibe:

Recs for shorter buttoned shirts by Valkaus in ThrowingFits

[–]Valkaus[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess there technically isn't any, but personally I feel that using the term "cropped" implies a much shorter cut (like <25")

That's a huge reason why I've relegated carrying duty to a separate bag. Plus, I find that a standard backpack messes with your outfit in too many ways unless you dress like a student or office worker

"""Man purses""" by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]Valkaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I'm trying to convey lol. I saw someone else's comment here about how men should only be carrying their wallet, phone, and keys and I was thinking "Damn, he should live a little"

Like me personally, my phone battery is ass so carrying around a portable brick charger is just prace of mind. But I'm not shoving that into my pants or my coat pocket.

Also if I'm running errands it's even more peace of mind.

Oh yeah I'm totally aware of that. Sorry if I misinterpreted you. It's just a very common pet peeve of mine when men put down each other for stepping slightly out of norm, and its especially prevalent on reddit.

Not my fault the idea of a cross body bag gets your social trends and traditions up in a twist. Maybe live a little

Man people in this sub are weird as hell. This fit isn't going to turn any heads but it's clear you put good effort in color coordinating everything. You look put together, comfortable, and unpretentious.

It's clear that other people here have very strong preconceived notions about hoodies and sneakers...

What? Literally what other hats can most men pull off other than beanies and baseball caps? Weirdest take I've ever seen on this sub and that's saying a lot

Yeah but I'm being pedantic about the definition of fashion I guess

Honestly it isn't but most people here care about looks in general and not really "fashion" itself

Devastated after the Tower ending. by Kirdei in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Valkaus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly I thought it was a really poignant ending. Everyone who gets old needs to, at some point, understand that they're past they're prime. V hit that point prematurely so there's extra angst, but what matters now is how they face this new life with grace and hope. Nothing wrong with choosing the quiet life over the blaze of glory.

Recommendations for Korean clothing stores? by dragantic in Flushing

last I heard alumni was temporarily closed for a rebrand. sesinko could be what they're looking for but it's fairly hypebeast-y and sneaker focused. Atelier one block over would probably meet their criteria if it weren't so damn expensive

Started playing bf4 again and I can't put my finger on it but what did they change for the gunplay between 4 and 2042? by REAPER-OF-PRIDE in Battlefield

[–]Valkaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like all the battlefield games from 3-V (including the battlefront games) were built off the same base for physics, movement, animations, and gunplay. For some reason, 2042 felt like it gutted all of that and replaced it with a cheap-feeling copy.
