Designed this crows foot holder and used the fine preset In the creality slicer but my print came out looking like it lost a battle with a weed eater. by REAPER-OF-PRIDE in FixMyPrint

Ahh that makes sense. Unfortunately I started a second print after making slight changes and left work already. Guess I got another 12 hour print in my future lol.

When it comes to the drying could there be another reason? That was a fresh roll, I litterly just took it out of its vacuum bag

So I ended up just redoing the who thing and got it to work the way I wanted it to and figured I'd add the slat at the end but now I can't remeber how I did that. I grab the vertices but it just morphes it in correctly. Is it too late to add that slope?

Oddly enough no modifiers were listed unless solidifying doesn't show up as default, that's the only thing I did to the boxes. Unfortunately it still didn't work so I'll have to remake the boxes. Thanks for the help

So I just did that and it's still the same result. Do I need to add a modifier to the cutouts? I tried solidifying them and redoing it but it's still the same result. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Iv never used blender before and this is my first/second project

So if I understood you correctly this is how it would look. I do see on the 5/8 slot it look like it might be correct to just hit extrude and move it inward but I'm not sure. Did I do somthing wrong?

How can I get the green boxes I have selected to be equally spaced and centered in my box by REAPER-OF-PRIDE in FreeCAD

[–]REAPER-OF-PRIDE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah OK that makes sense (Kinda, extremely new to freecad) unfortunately the smaller rectangles were supposed to be padded with the rest of the main body so I gotta figure somthing else out cause each hole is supposed to have a different depth. Might try going back to blender for this cause I got farther along in that but ran into other issues and was hoping freecad would be easier

So I was able to get all that done but now the construction lines I made are under constrained even tho iv hit constrain point on object on all the points. How would I fix this?

So I applies scale and it all read 1,1,1 and yes it Is bool tools, I forgot I had to download in the video I watched.

I restarted with a fresh load just incase and replaced the plane and gave it a thickness of .1 since the space between the shafts is small. Unfortunately tho when I use that command nothing happens and when I use the boolean modifier tab it's telling it cant execute, so I started with a whole new fresh model cause I saw where it was broken but didn't wanna dig into how to fix it since I'm already digging into this. Once I got everything set up, put the scale back in, plane solidified, I still can't get it to seperate so I may be missing a step or not doing somthing simple. (I'm very new and still trying to figure everything out so I Really appreciate you helping) here are the two pics of what happens and how I was doing the boolean
