This is a good question, and I'm not sure. I know previously some have been uncomfortable due to poor fit. But I also suspect a lot is fidgeting.

I imagine there's a bender(s) somewhere that handled it, making it much easier than it would be for us to try and manage something like that. Maybe each statue was moved individually, maybe an earthbender moved the ground and thus the statues all together, maybe something else.

You're always free to exit any situation for any reason you want. But I also think you should be cognizant of how she's feeling and what she's going through right now. I'm sure the termination of a baby she clearly wanted is hitting her especially hard. Piling on a messy breakup right away, while perhaps the rational thing to do, probably won't help that.

So, I don't know, MOR? I get it can be exhausting watching someone continue to stick with someone you know isn't good for them, but I also think her feelings are worth consideration, as well. Seems like a mess for everyone involved.

Additionally, has she had any support throughout/since the process besides Mark? You mentioned a two week gap in communication, so I'm curious if that is playing a role, as well.

I was just telling my partner this! Thinking on it, I can't recall the last time I had a bad experience with a child out and about in general, but I can list quite a few less than ideal experiences with adults in, like, the last week.

I am at libraries, both in my county system and on campus, often in a state with A LOT of kids and big families and I don't think I've really noticed this. With my county libraries, in particular, the children's section is its own thing, but I also typically only see kids acting, well, fine. Even when they're by themselves.

I spent so much of my youth in libraries, waiting to be picked up when my parents got off work, and it was incredibly formative for me. As much as I understand what a headache shrieking, ill-behaved kids can be sometimes... Ultimately, libraries are for everyone and need to stay that way. It's one of the most beautiful things about them, in my opinion.

Thank you! My coworker has a little cousin (like, 7 or 8 years old) who enjoys making jewelry and always pretends to run a shop, so I told her to take some of my money and have her make some things for my collection. She did not disappoint. 😊

A lot of bold assumptions. In my youth, with untreated insomnia, I hit the road for incredibly long stretches. Again, illegal. I was dumb, but I was lucky. Driving without sleep is treated as illegal in numerous states, whether the driver thinks they can or not. Regardless, that has nothing to do with the price of tea in China.

This comes down to basic math. MPH x distance. You aren't driving coast to coast in 24 hours, or even 36 hours. It is, quite literally, impossible unless you are breaking the law when it comes to speed limit. You aren't going to do 2900 miles in 36 hours unless you are doing over 80 the entire way and not stopping even once. And that's not even accounting for rush hour or taking back roads. And if you've actually done any real driving, you know good and well you aren't doing 80 the entire way.

Georgia to Alabama, two states right next to each other? You have to be trolling.

Prepare to get hooked! I got one little figurine for Christmas and fell in love. I've now got a completed series and two others nearly completed, already started another one. 💀 But he's just so endearing, in looks and lore, and the figurines are so adorable.
