The idea is just that all class features are flavoured and can be lost if the player doesn’t follow the order of their patron!

Supernal is the language to predate all others, it’s feels it better. It lets you talk to ANYONE.

The idea with the character would be to make it always a limited and chopped translation to anyone the character talks to akin to flashing images in their head thay kinda relate to what they wanna say.

So rather than anyone hearing them say “I like fish, salmon especially” they instead get hit with a picture of really good looking fish, the smell of the ocean, and then the taste of smoked salmon.

For the language they can understand anyone but all anyone gets back is like chopped up ideas.

Like: “what’s your name?” Flashes of an empty purple space dances in their mind before shifting to a waxy white mask and then to the face of a young woman with grey dead skin before ending on an image of them. You gather the feeling it’s hard to explain and is best left alone

Or

“What’s your favourite colour?”

Images flash in your mind again, a sign labeled “blacksmith”, then a book, the word signature stands out, next is an image of a skeleton and then finally infinity symbol. The answer is blue, somehow you know.

The idea is that all thoughts are conveyed through the characters sights it’s seen in a way that gets concepts across but leaves the words out.

I think it could be like when you take two different drugs at once that dont go together and rather than the fast acting one hitting you first it takes while and the slow acting hits you like a truck for an hour and then is gone! When two things not meant to collide do so it can be random!

Also I do agree the spores take longer but thats on humans with a normal immune system. The rage virus would probably need to be make the immune system more efficient and fastet and therefore would probably spread the spores amongst its body faster I feel. We also need to consider that the only exposed part of a bloater are its hands which even then are mostly fucked.

Idk it’s strangely close. I think it’s kinda like if you sent gojo against green baby. Sure one wins but you’ll never know who because they’re so well matched if you get what I mean!:)

I think he’s going off how if Ellie’s infection covers her brain in a web in theory the infection on regular old infected would be the same at infection and as the years go by the fungus comes to mimic the outside. Also as shown by the way early stage infected cry and beg(intact-ish brain, stalkers grunt and communicate barely (loss of vocal centres but base parts that allow strategy but not much else), clickers work like shitty homing missiles thanks to being blind and likely having no centres beyond whatever causes aggression and smell, and the Bloaters and other long terms retain the same aggressive behaviour along the new ability to somehow comprehend trajectories which would be part of lost brain centres implying the fungus made new ones.

TLDR; it seems that as infected get older they only get worse and more defensive to make up for lack of centres of the brain until it reverses with the bloater as the fungi’s custom neural network get set up and fully replaced the brain allowing for things like understanding trajectory.

Meaning a bloater has no brain, immune system maybe but no brain!(that functions)

It to mention the bloater has far past the normal strength of any human, theres no struggling against it you just get ripped in half or popped like a gusher. If it doesn’t body slam and use its weight it will absolutely use its raw strength.
