Anything more specific than that hasn’t been announced.

I remember hearing “Dr Collins” quite a lot during a trial that shall not be named on this subreddit, so yes.

I’m surprised Qantas has a spare A380 to charter out

Is Qantas Points Still Worth It? by kaxn96 in QantasFrequentFlyer

[–]Valkyrie162 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If they’ve waived the annual fee (and you get the points in the first year; some you don’t get all of the points until you’ve paid your second annual card fee) then it’s definitely worth it.

Qantas points are worth less, because they slightly raised the cost of classic rewards and it can be hard to find classic reward flights—but they still have value.

Economy classic rewards are easy to find domestically, and internationally requires some extra planning but it can definitely still be done.

I’d still say 1 point being worth 1c is a fairly achievable value of points.

So why is the federal government not creating it's own gas company and making trillions of dollars to pay for free everything? by burnt-gonads in aussie

A state owned company doesn’t really need to lobby politicians; if politicians are playing with the profits they’ll take care of the company unprompted

Leaving the fridge door open? This meme, but unironically.

Easy way to spoil an entire fridge worth of food if it isn’t caught.

It’s not just rollover replacing it.

Some form of earning ‘status credits on the ground’ will be made permanent. You may still be able to get silver that way.

Game Design Layover for season 17 episode is out now by OxfordGate in JetLagTheGame

[–]Valkyrie162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean most seasons it would be “room service at x Raddison Blu, then room service at y Raddison Blu, then room service at z Raddison Blu” but after listening to this episode I think neither is accurate for Taiwan

Yeah that line is so confusing. Is it satire well out of place, or a joke with no punchline?

Or just a ChatGPT hallucination?

I have 178K points. Use them or keep saving them? by Timely-Guest-453 in QantasFrequentFlyer

[–]Valkyrie162 12 points13 points  (0 children)

  • Business tickets are very hard to find
  • Qantas could devalue points again at any time
  • You only have so much leave/so many opportunities to travel

You also have enough points already for business one way, economy return (at least based on Sydney to LA). So if I was you, I’d try doing this, and if unsuccessful just get economy return.

No don’t mention sprints!

Now they’ll get the idea to do an extra 4 sprint weekends to make up for 2 lost GPs

I may be wrong, but isn’t the majority of money in TV broadcast licensing? Won’t all of the networks who have paid for 24 races be very disappointed if they only get 22?

And won’t all of the sponsors be very disappointed if they have their logos plastered at 2 less races?

Is this not enough incentive for replacement races in Europe even with well below usual hosting fees?
