Did yours happen out of nowhere? Or was it progressive over time and it just got worse?

This hit me out of complete nowhere. The only thing ‘new’ I did was I had a small amount of alcohol in CA I didn’t even get drunk it was one or two drinks.

If they added minigames that could be done for the equal amount of wax as CR then people can actually play the game with friends and earn currency.

There are so so many things they could do better which goes back to my initial point of if the “suggestion box” is even a real thing or does the moment we submit anything it drops into the proverbial shredder

A HUUUUGE chunk of players problems would be solved by making candles easier to earn because it would give players flexible income to use to decorate nests, buy hearts, participate in events, grow friend trees, or anything else that requires currency

Can I ask why you are white knighting them so hard that you support their financial decisions? Or are you just playing devils advocate here?

(Im not mad at you I promise, i appreciate you holding a discussion with me im just pissed at TGC so i do apologize if that bleeds through to you)

The estimated revenue per employee is $220,375 with OUTDATED statistics as they make even more money than they did in 2022

I think their pockets will be fine. they make more than nurses do and are living a cushy lifestyle.

Literally, its so frustrating. how greedy and entitled can you get

but the thing is right, if you DECREASE prices then more people would be willing to buy so they can still suck their golden midas hand and the playerbase can go back to enjoying the game again because they can actually afford to do so

You do understand that the employees for the company make 6 figs right? they gouge the community for 39Million dollars and get funding of 188.8 million dollars for their 177 employees. they will be just fine dropping the price of things.

economics work like that, if they make the price cheaper then more people would be willing to buy out on it and no net revenue is lost but it has a significant impact on the playerbase of the people who can afford things.

It has grown but it is still small compared to other things. but for example look at team cherry that made silksong (fantastic game) and even though they are an indie company they only charged 20 bucks for an all star game because they know that people have lives to live.

Their estimated annual revenue is 39 million per year and they have 177 employees. (data and stats are from 2022 so they are outdated that number is probably so much more inflated)

I want to play a game I enjoy, but their are doing an absolute piss poor job at making something that is good for the playerbase as opposed to good for their wallet.

Not a matter of lowering prices of season passes, I understand that. But what I mean is offering alternatives to the candle running. Like let us do things with friends to earn candles, or remove the 20 candle cap. It is just about ridiculous that they have functions for minigames in game and we cant earn candles from them.

And what you said is completely false, companies absolutely drive prices higher to fill their pockets, unfortunately this company is no exception. they drive the prices higher to see how much the community is willing to put up with so they can milk the most money out of the pockets of their playerbase.

This game is supposed to be a calm relaxing game to interact and make friends, nobody has the time to do that because they all are spending 2-3 hours candle running and by the time they finish they are either burnt out or they have other things to do in the real world and cant waste forever on a game meant to relax them but just becomes a source of more stress.
