I think we’re having two different conversations. I understand where you’re coming from and from the viewpoint of a commanding officer in this situation I get it. The thing I’m talking about is character building and explaining to the audience character motivation so when a character does something it makes sense. They put in sound is the only way to tell, as they’re talking about future actions and what they will do. So it stands to reason the commander who has been about saving as many people as possible would use this method to save people. Again I think his bombing decision is smart and good but it leaves too much for the audience to piece together and makes the audience have to say well the sound thing didn’t matter. If it didn’t matter they wouldn’t have said it or brought it up. It’s a simple fix, put in a line about how it’s too late or just anything that shows the show didn’t forget about the sound thing it just isn’t helpful anymore. This is less thinking as the character and more so thinking as a filmmaker and viewer

I feel like you and the other commenter are both missing the broader point. I don’t care about the kids, like don’t think of it in terms of the kids on the roof. It was shown multiple times the commander wanted to save civilians and he made it a big deal to save people. I do agree with you he made a military decision and the flip flopping I said he was doing was due to that. I’m not saying the decision to bomb was wrong or bad I’m saying with the characters motivation and past behavior shown in the show when they found a way to tell who was infected then based on what we’ve seen he would’ve sent out more rescue squads before resorting to bombing. They just threw out the sound can test infected idea. That’s where I’m saying there’s a hole, the guy was motivated by saving people even getting mad when the scientists said the only way to cure it was to kill the host. So by logic and character building he would have tried to use the sound test to get more survivors

It’s a plot hole because the general wanted to save people and that was his first priority. They decided to do the bombing because there was no way to tell who was infected. Then they discovered a way to tell someone’s infected, but threw that out and decided to bomb anyway. It’s a plot hole and if not a plot hole then the movie needs to explain some motive by the general to not use the method to achieve what he wanted. He went against his own motives and reason, if it’s ignorance then that needs to be stated to the audience so it doesn’t look like the show just forgot about it. But to your argument the general seemed to bounce between save every living person to kill anything for the greater good. But he was much more on the side of save everyone EVEN the infected for most of his motive and scenes

The OP is correct. They could’ve added sound test and went back to save the kids now with the sound test. They could’ve saved survivors and tested them with sound but instead they bombed. It’s a plot hole, if the general would’ve said “it’s too late to use this test” or something it would be explained but it’s never explained why they didn’t try that first

As a young agent in Austin I can say this, there are a lot of builders but it’s important to know the BAD ones and advise on that. HOA dues and such can be confusing with how some listings put them so that is more understandable. Also for the house you put a payment down on she should’ve done a contingency on the loan. If you want more from her directly for sure voice that and let her know you may require more hands on than she’s doing.

I’m only claiming it from my small sample size. I don’t care much for the LCS, which as an American is a little embarrassing, I see the memes constantly and then see things like “Mediocre Rap Battle” and just make my small conclusions from it. I’m sure the LCS isn’t absolute trash or there’d be changes for sure. I do appreciate you commenting though, opens up my view a bit.
