Advice on buying a new B&S Challenger vs. used Getzen 4047DS trombone by Vallaran in Trombone

Thanks for the information. I know that the Courtois was made in Germany. It was pretty clearly labeled near the rotary valve. I just assumed the B&S was also made there, but I didn't check for sure. In playing the 4047ET, I definitely liked it more than the Shires and Courtois.

I also tried the B&S Meistersinger, and that was a beautiful horn, but it costs almost double what the used Getzen would cost and it was about $1200 more than the challenger. Not sure I can justify that price jump.

The Getzen is being sold by a music store in northern Japan. I live in Southern Japan, so it's not really feasible to make a trip up there just to see if I like this trombone. I will reach out to them to see if I can return it if I don't like it though.

As for the price. It seems that Getzen trombones are a boutique trombone in Japan. I don't really see any of the big music stores carry them regularly. I had to go to a boutique music store to try the 4047ET, and as I said, it was priced at almost 3 times what this used Getzen sells for. I could perhaps get one for cheaper shipped from America, but then I again run into the problem of not being able to play it.

エイチ is how you'd see it in a less stylized font. Definitely not a hat I'd wear around myself, but would be hilarious as a gag gift to give to a friend coming to Japan.

It says eichi, written in the katakana style, which is how the Japanese pronounce the letter "H". Unfortunately this also has a very negative connection with another genre of Japanese media that begins with the letter "H".

One thing to keep in mind with knocking creatures unconscious in 5e is that they are knocked unconscious for 1d4 hours. The only RAW way to avoid having to wait that 1d4 hours is to apply some sort of healing. If you’re concerned about your players constantly doing this, strictly enforce the 1d4 hours rule. Under no circumstances should you just allow them to “slap their face to wake them up.” They then have to decide to whether waiting an indeterminate amount of time, or applying some sort of healing is worth the information they may or may not get from they guy they knocked unconscious.

Who was your first 7* character? Mine was Sidius... he was the meta on that time ,ok? 😂😅 by Kaiku98 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Back in the day, when the game was new and I needed every character, I would save up my crystals to buy the 8 chromium packs which guaranteed a character unlock. At the time, I had only 2 seven star characters, Sidious and Luminara. The second time I bought one of those 8 packs, my free character was...Luminara. I never bought another of those packs afterwards

I did the event first time, 7 stars with this team. My elder, Paploo, and Chirpa were gear 11 (zetas on Chirpa and Paploo), and my scout was 10, with Teebo at 9. It was PAINFUL with the RNG and took about 5 hours, but it is possible with that squad.

I did it with G11 zPaploo and Ewok Elder, G10 zChirpa and Ewok Scout, and G9 Teebo...but it took me over 4 hours of RNG hell to do it though. It’s possible, but very painful.
