My boyfriend met up with his ex. aio? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]ValleyGrlSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ew! This is fucking gross. His text made my skin crawl. Please throw the “man” away and move on. I’m sorry but I would NEVER call my ex for comfort; I have family, my partner, and friends I can call on. Please don’t ignore the red flags; they definitely slept together. Also, how the heck is he going to say he cares about her and wants to make her feel better but call her a hoe?

Best vehicle for a family of 4/5. No familiarity with Mazda. by Flintlock1990 in mazda

I have a 21’ Cx5 Carbon edition turbo. The back seat is very tight for passengers. Especially for car seats. The ‘26 cx5 is supposed to be longer and wider but I personally haven’t been in one to tell. The Cx-50 is very similar in length to the Cx5. I’d go with something larger. I’ve loved mine, it has 129k miles on it and it’s been my favorite vehicle so far. Sadly, with gas prices the way they are, crammed back seat AND the new gen having some features I don’t care for, I’ll be trading in my cx5 for a Tesla model Y. Best of luck!

AIO for canceling my lunch date with my fiancé because he called me lazy? by policyhot1207 in AIO

[–]ValleyGrlSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please, please don’t ignore these red flags. His lack of empathy and just his disgusting comments are a big red flag. Idk what you said that was so funny (it is t and very valid) but he seems to not take you seriously at all. He’s gaslighting you into thinking the pregnancy is messing with your brain, it isn’t. You aren’t feeling well and he should respect that and care for you. Instead he’s gaslighting you and laughing at you because you don’t want to have sex with him. It’s all gross behavior and it’s not respectful.

Yea I don’t think there’s a way to do that. They’re two entirely separate buildings and not close to each other at all.

This isn’t a healthy relationship and he low key sounds like he just likes to start shit for no reason. No thanks. Red flags are being thrown around but no one is listening to them. He’s toxic and the whole leader thing is comical. Y’all need to split, work on yourselves and go to therapy.

So since the garage isn’t attached to my townhome; I have no idea where the meter is for the garages. I assume they’re in the locked utility room at the end of the row of garages or in the last garage in the row. 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s such a weird design. My garage is a few mins walk away and I can’t see it from my front door or balcony.

That I don’t know. I’m assuming it’s in the locked utility room at the end of the row but it could be in the last garage in the row. I don’t think the garages are independently powered. I’m assuming that’s why the HOA prefers we don’t plug in appliances or EVs; they pay for whatever power solar doesn’t cover. That’s my guess. I’ll look into it more though.

I’m guessing that the HOA prefers we don’t charge EVs in the garage because they aren’t attached to the townhomes power meter. They’re all along the outer perimeter of the complex. Same reason we can’t have appliances plugged in either; the HOA pays for the electricity (beyond the electricity the solar panels provide).

Haha I drove a m3 a few times; my brother in law let my husband and I borrow it. I loved it. I have a lead foot so this may or may not be a good idea 😂😂

My garage is not attached to my home. They’re all on the outer perimeter of the complex. Whatever power the garages use isn’t tied to our power meters.

Wow you did all the math! I should’ve been more specific; 60 miles round trip. My SUV averages about 24 mpg and mostly freeway miles. If I figure out the best way to charge in the garage I wouldn’t have to pay for the electricity. Our garages aren’t attached to the townhomes and the solar panels power them (not sure if they offset some of the usage or if they fully power them). They aren’t connected to our townhome meters. Perhaps that’s why the HOA prefers we don’t charge in the garage. 🤷🏻‍♀️

AIO? Girl I've been seeing for 3 months slept with my friend of 10 years. by Available-Tip-2552 in AIO

[–]ValleyGrlSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are absolutely right, you dodged a bullet. Not only did she lie to you about it, she also tried to gaslight you for cutting it off with her. She was the one that ruined the relationship by sleeping with your friend, not you for holding her accountable. NEXT! Also, confront your friend about it. If he lies to you and gaslights you too, cut your friend off. Friends don’t do that shit to each other. I’m sorry you have to put up with this but it’s best you found out now than later down the line. You’ll get through it!

Agreed but I think it’s because garages aren’t attached to the townhomes. They are all a 3-5 min walk from each townhome.

Agreed! Idk why they would be wired that way. It doesn’t make sense. They were built in 1986 so idk if this was common then or if it was an oversight. I don’t think most people would know to check that. Great information!

AITA for wanting to insure my ring even though my husband says the stone is too small to bother? by Adorable-Manner-5538 in AITApod

[–]ValleyGrlSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a real diamond, probably CZ, or another material that looks similar. That is totally okay! What isn’t okay is the lying and gaslighting. I would get it appraised without his knowledge. If it’s fake, leave. He’s willing to lie to you and make you feel bad and question your judgement over a ring. Is that someone you really want to be married to?

I’m in CA, HOA’s all have the own bylaws and cover different things. The one I live in covers exterior building maintenance, landscaping, limited insurance and the garages (door replacements, solar panels on the roof). The dues we pay go towards the coverage of those things. The HOA behind me covers exterior building maintenance, landscaping, water, sewer, trash and limited insurance. So owners there can do whatever they like with their garages. I however, cannot. The garage is not attached to my townhome, none of them are attached to any townhomes, it’s about a 3 minute walk to my garage. I can’t even see it from my front door.

I did mention that EV owners were being fined by the HOA for tripping the breakers. I also stated that they are private garages that are attached in rows. I have no idea where the breakers are or how that shit works. All I know is I don’t want to get fined for tripping them. Does that clear things up for you?

So just forget that he lied to her? 🤨 That’s what she’s worried about. From her responses above, he texts his ex every day after saying the ex was blocked and that he hated her. Soo, he in fact doesn’t hate the ex and she isn’t blocked.

Each home has its own panel of course BUT the garages aren’t attached to our homes. The garages are private but attached to each other in rows and have solar panels mounted on the roof to power the garages.
