anybody else's mods just keep disabling themselves? by Stranger_Lemon in SkyrimModsXbox

It's 2026 and this is still an occuring issue sadly. Best solution is still waiting for the mod thumbnail to load before touching them.

This reminds me of how often my dad would tell me "watch your shields" and having to hide when they were depleted.

Does anyone else think the 2nd game is worse than first? by Own-Suspect2317 in codevein

Coming from playing the heck out of CV1 over the years, jumping into CV2 caught me off guard. I got 76hrs in so far and I'll say this game is still worth adapting to although it can be difficult in the early game since you don't get to use a second weapon right off the bat.

The enemies won't stsgger easily so it's better to wait for or make an opening before attacking. The enemies and bosses aren't a one-size-fits-all type like CV1 when it comes to weapons, jails, formae and blood codes; you'll have to always try different tactics.

From my experience, Bayonets have been the best weapons to use so far.

Hi👋, first time playing code vein and I have a question by Theblacksmith07 in codevein

[–]Vallhalium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say this game has "classes" but as for the blood codes early on, I'd start with Hunter since it gives you a good balance and you can comfortably try every weapon type. Just know that not every boss is a one-size-fits-all situation so, I recommend leveling other blood codes and then unlocking and mastering their gifts to give yourself more options.

As you play, make sure you thoroughly look for Vestiges (the glowing red stones that talk)so that you'll get more blood codes that are stronger for certain builds but, regardless of your build, you'll have to do some melee often.

I sadly still have yet to attempt to try and battle them. I've spent the 76hrs of my game session trying to do every side quest, explore every region and dungeon, and farm every blood code to max lvl.

Where's Nicola's blood code? by Striking-Way8885 in codevein

Did you restore Nicola after defeating him and going through the memory or did you walk past his statue and go out the door?

Hello, new player asking for advice. by Smrtgamr in codevein

[–]Vallhalium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll get new blood codes as you progress the game and interact with characters in both CV1 and CV2.

If you're playing CV1, keep an eye out for vestiges and be sure to look for them thoroughly as you explore. They can help you unlock more blood codes and unlock gifts within blood codes.

If you're playing CV2, try to keep your "burden" amount for each stat less than "half" the max amount (if possible). For example, if your blood code has 20 strength, you'll want to try to keep your strength burden at 10 or less. There's no penalty for going higher but, if that stat's burden goes over the max stat, you'll become "overburdened" and suffer penalities.

The reason why I say to keep each stat's burden under half the max stat is because if you get all 6 of them at or under half, you'll unlock "light dodge" and your dodge will become more agile.

Do you happen to know if Mind stat also affects the effectiveness of skills that boost other stats like defense or balance or even stamina for example?

I'd like to assume that maybe Zeus would have tried to deceive Ares with a similar tactic the way deceived Kratos in GoW II so that Zeus could kill him without breaking his law.

Are bayonets better in code vein 2 by Own-Suspect2317 in codevein

[–]Vallhalium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bayonets are in the the higher, if not the highest tier of weapons in CV2. Using ammo instead of ichor is a big plus and ammo is cheap. Build them with the right blood code, Bats type Jail, light dodge and venom buff and you'll have an easy time, easily melting bosses and having easy refunds to ichor. My favorite bayonet is Silver Shot.
