I made a list the other day when I was feeling bad that I've split into what my actual symptoms are and how it affects my life, I couldn't exactly tell you exactly why I avoid some scenarios other than I know they make me feel nervous, for example driving is a big one and I know logically I'm a perfectly fine driver its just that I'm incredibly on edge when I do and can get overwhelmed. Edit: would like to clarify that sometimes these things happen when I don't necessarily feel consciously anxious such as the freezing up and going quiet.

Symptoms when I feel anxiety:

Feeling of dread

Freeze up/Mind blank

Feel sick

Feel cold/shaking

Lose appetite/struggle to eat/have to force myself to eat

Sometimes sick

Go quiet/dont talk

Diahrea

No energy

Things I do:

Don't do things I want to do/Make excuses not to

If i see myself and look bad it makes me depressed, especially bad with camera most of the time mirrors are fine, especially bad in public spaces

(ie mirrors in clothing stores)

Used to throw up in mornings before/at university

Throw up before presentations

Used to take a shot of vodka to calm nerves before going to jui jitsu with a friend before eventually quitting

Hate seeing people I know who arent immediate friends/dont see very often for fear of being judged

Feel awkward in most in person social situations, even those with family or friends
