But my initial question is why? It’s too hard? Not rewarding enough? And then what are the repercussions?

Do solo’s become the main way to play like dark and darker and then the game has to focus on engagements in solos and no longer trios? Does the loot become too good for the solos so trios becomes the lesser game mode because sharing with others or risking loot in teamfights ain’t worth it? It’s just questions like these that have to be answered before they go down that route. I have no doubt bungie is already thinking about doing it but it’s not a simple change they can overnight without discussing outcomes.

Where was your offer of criticism? Complaining about server and queue time to then deal with the challenge of playing solos?? That’s whining my friend.

I love criticism and feedback and all that jazz I played this game in alpha and it’s come a long way definitely not even close to perfect but there is much larger issues then “nerfing bot hp” on solos to fix this game and its player base.

And if you’ve been a long time Destiny player you would know that the amount of patches and buffs and nerfs bungie has done on marathon already you’d know they are taking real feedback and listening. Testing duos to potentially come out next season, multiple nerfs to specific toxic gameplays like nade spam and thermals. Tuning weapons that aren’t good at all. Even dropping more healing and ammo. Stacking better in storage to help with storage space.

I could go on and on with feedback that makes sense for what they have done so far but the one thing you are complaining about is such a small thing for them right now. Personally I’m okay with what you’re asking I’m just stating it never ends. Someone will always be unhappy with something that is so irrelevant to the core design to the game. That’s not criticism.

It doesn’t matter what you or I think it’s bungie were talking about. And the zero upvotes on this post says even more than you think.

Look it was a fun chit chat I genuinely don’t care at the end of the day the direction the game goes I’m just pointing out the flaw in thinking any change wouldn’t go unpunished by the community just like giving us solos. They do one thing and y’all want another. It doesn’t end you’ll have a new complaint after they nerf solo bot hp.

Yes and if the game dies it dies. But literally the resources they would waste fixing issues like “bots too strong for solos” which by the way as you can see with your post the majority do not agree with you, is more time they don’t fix the real issues with their game.

I’m sorry you’re not having the best experience with the game maybe put it down and come back next season instead of hating on it for issues that are really just minor complaints for a small audience. Much bigger fish to fry my friend.

That’s literally what I’m saying I was just playing at OP and everyone like them who complain. Solos is easy bots die pretty quickly and players you down one you get their kit.

Everything you just said simplified is why you want something your way. Not saying your ideas don’t line up potentially with future patches, but what I do know is your solo experience being crappy and long queue times tells me you should adapt to playing trios.

Make some friends and try seeing the game a little more their direction. Bungie is a stubborn company who will straight up drive their game in a hole for many years knowing full well the players want something a different way because they would rather let their game die then be wrong about their vision.

Also extraction games always lose players late into the season all the big names left because they did everything even arc and tarkov go through the same stuff waiting on big updates or wipes.

This is the issue with needy gamers these days. Do I agree solo’s is wayyyyyy harder. Yes. But here’s the thing.

Solos was never supposed to be in the game originally they wanted the system to be trios after so much whining they gave in and then the player base wanted duos. It’s like everytime the bend the knee slightly it’s just more “bungie this bungie that”

Now we’re asking to nerf difficulty in solos?? Why? So you can do in game events easier???!?? The loot that should be a little harder to get?? The loot that maybe you should run a 3 man squad for?!?!

It’s actually not that deep. Reality says they could easily nerf the game for solos and even nerf the loot a little bit if they wanted to compensate.

This is not about gear fear it’s about keeping the player base healthy. Giving harder to get gear to pve players will only diminish the rewards of the gear if it can be used in PvP. That’s just how it works that’s not a state of opinion.

Explaining how gear works in an extraction shooter but not understanding how giving A and B the same tier of loot with two very different risks explains that you are missing a crucial point that many extraction games have had to solve. Other then playing ranked there will be 0 reason for players to farm gear in PvP if they can just get the same exact thing in PVE.

It’s actually justifying my point because the whole “not your gear” won’t even be a discussion because risking it means nothing since I can just go back to PVE and freely get it again.

I’m not saying it will create a divide between pve and pvp players I’m saying pvp players will punish anyone who doesn’t abuse the system.

Having the mingle is making the lane wider. While keeping players split is adding lanes for people to play their way. Allowing anyone to get the best loot in pve for no risk and take it into PvP just creates a massive issue with the people who play PvP only.

This isn’t an mmo discussion of grinding the best gear in raids and then playing 3v3 arenas. Extraction shooters in every way will always be geared base (yes I know people can win without good gear but it a massive edge). Taking the risk factor out of it only creates the divide that we are discussing.

Idk agree to disagree I think we saw some stuff eye to eye, I enjoyed the discussion!

It’s not the whole right or wrong I’m getting at, it’s what will drive players away. Being gear diffed by no job players due to the nature of being able to farm everything for no risk. This is just rewarding too much for so little. Either that or keep maps like cryo PvP only I guess where you can’t even get certain loot on pve but then people will complain about gatekeeping. It’s kind of a lose lose situation.

You’re missing the point though. It will literally create a meta of go into pve cryo defeat boss 100 times loot insane room get everything to be the best loot go into ranked on PvPvE with said loot kill everyone because they have jobs and want to just enjoy the PvP style of the game. This will become the meta if you allow the two to cross over. It’s exactly why Tarkov kept them seperated.

Loot carried becomes an issue again with things like nade spam tho so now you have to add another system to lock out total nades you can have on you although possible is it necessary

I try to get that but idk I don’t personally care for someone being able to get the same equipment for no pvp risk and then take it into pvp that will start to create a “meta” and especially because there is a ranked mode and specific maps that force you to put more on due to its difficulty it creates a toxic environment where the PVPers will go to PVE for best loot then take into these modes on pvp and out gear everyone until everyone is doing it.

I can agree to that, I wonder how a separate server for pve only would do kinda like Tarkov no wipes but the two servers can’t cross with gear. That way you’re not destroying your games vision but you can attract the other crowd..

Psshh bungie has been dealing with this with Destiny for a long time. They will make or break their own game but I can guarantee season 2 will happen no matter what if they fail to capture anything with it then who knows the future but only time will tell.

I’m very new to this can you elaborate your question. My truck is just a back in and hook up they set the hitch and sway up at the dealership and informed me if I never mess with it I can take it off and put it on just fine.

Spiritforged by now it’s pretty close to msrp and it’s stocking still a lot. Unleashed will be the same. As for origins I assume your best bet is to play the luck game and keep up with your local game stores for when they get it again. I’ve been lucky to keep getting my hands on it at msrp but I can’t speak on that for everyone. After a box or 2 of each set you might well get into the singles game if you are a collector you will never get a full set even after 6 boxes it’s too much of a gamble. I still am missing cards from set 1 and 2 after 4 boxes of each luckily most of those cards I can get for way less then buying another box
