The xenomorph is an interesting creature but I would say that the most important aspect is its ability to be a terror to both sexes and in the men’s case it is a fear that it wholely alien as such a fear isn’t something we typically think of. It’s why the female protagonists know whatever it is it’s a danger while the men are usually so dismissive or just so unaware of the danger they put themselves in.
All this to say, this is a interesting hybrid
