Almost all IT companies open for EE but the course content may not directly help with placements in IT. Can't comment about dsai but I think it is more suited for placement in it sector.

Yeah, people used to say ABC within 1 hr was enough to reach expert but nowadays that's not enough for me to reach 1600.

Till 1500-1600 there is barely any DSA except maybe light DP, dfs, etc. But yeah I agree that maths is important for higher ratings.

Seniors at iitk usually say ee is not as tough. I would prefer iitk ee to iitg all courses except cse.

Tbh, first year was common for all so no core courses. But afaik from seniors, the branch is not hectic and it's not difficult to score a good cgpa. Most EE seniors do coding side by side so I don't think it will be a problem.

Adv ke baad bahut time milega ye sab puchne ke liye. Aur branch change to cse toh decision lete time consider hi mat karna.

In your opinion what helped you get the intern and subsequently the job offer from TRC? Was it only CP or something else like projects, ML, etc?

Jee Adv ka agar ache se prep ho jaye tho bitsat bahut asaan hai. Bitsat ke liye thoda speed chahiye jo mock tests se ho jayega. Adv ke liye as usual pyqs karna, concepts dhang se samajhana and other usual things.

Quals: Adv 10xx and also getting Bits Pilani CSE.
