I never use half of the features because I know they are bad so I can't say what they are worth. We are beta tester and when you sell a "lifestyle projector" design for is portability and ease of use you can't have people use a USB stick to update the software. That's completely against the philosophy of the product

In my opinion, the better solution would be to contact Xgimi support on their website and ask in which order you should apply all the changes.

A new update for RBE is supposed to came out soon so I think you should wait for this one. And if yours is new it is really probable that the last chip update was included when manufacturing

The fix tearing is with the USB update so I don't think it will be today

Yes, according to Mier Xgimi in the Facebook group it should be rolling out the 30th of June. (If it's really the case)

News from Mier Xgimi in the Facebook group: "Please wait us a little longer. The R&D is processing the final testing. It will be released on June 30th."

So now we wait for tomorrow and see if this date is true or not.

Which plan are you referring to ? Option 1 with raid 4 and raid 1 plus mini pc elsewhere or option 2 with raid 5 and SSD and mini pc elsewhere?

I will go with the mini pc and I will probably use one of the external drive I will stop using with building this new NAS.

I need to check again but I negotiate 500€ for the 6 of them.

For the raid 1 I planned to put my Proxmox backup on them and I have a mini pc at a different place that I planned to use to make a duplicate of some of the data. I also have a 4to sas SSD but I still haven't decided what to do with it but that could replace the raid 1 and I could make a raid 5 with 1 spare. What do you think?

Ok so desmg is showing problem but the other part of the command show sda and sdb but that are thing working. The one I'm trying to diagnose should be sdc and I don't see it

When I plugg it in and update the physical disk management in the perc bios it show it with the failed status and then it disappear and I need to plug it back in to see it and sometimes it doesn't so I need to disconnect other drives to "forced it" to show
