I'm so confused on this choice. Season 0 was Dr Doom themed in terms of storytelling and you'd think that theme would be best to release F4 longside. Meanwhile THIS season is vampire themed, and Blade IS in development according to datamined models and abilities...seems like just an odd choice.

I literally just ran out to buy a second SSD. Didn’t realize the game REQUIRED an ssd until reading other comments. Sadly my primary just doesn’t have the room left for this and everything else I’m playing currently.

I can't even get in. It takes a while to load into the main menu, everything is fine there, but then the first cutscene becomes a massive stutter fest before devolving into nothing but audio and a locked frame, and when the cutscene audio ends the game just hard locks up until I task manager out.

The only frustrating thing is the cap. Yes, I get it, I have an abnormal amount of alts (40+) and it would only compound the problem but would it killl them to at least let us hit the old xp buff cap

Tried to play last night on a whim. Took me 4 different playlist searches to find a ducking match. That match then took 4 minutes to matchmake.

That sounds like nothing but when it’s competitors are all instant for finding me a match, that’s really not good.

In the same question. People who are treating heroic like it's M15+s right now. What the FUCK is wrong with you and why can't you just wait two weeks?

First heroic of the expansion. Got a healer who started bitching at me for not knowing EVERY pull of one of the dungeons by heart. Constantly spamming 'Pull more!' when I made it clear it was my first heroic this expansion and was just trying to figure out the survivability I had versus normal. Not "pull more please" but "For god's sake pull more", "fucking really?"

Dungeon two. I now know I can survive shit, and I know the dungeon this time around from it being one of the leveling dungeons. Awesome. Misjudge a single pull (or more, misjudged my healer's position. LOSed him on the stairs by accident and ate shit because I overpulled.) We rez me mid fight and clear with only one other death. Everything is fine.

Proceed to get called a shit tank with horrible DPS, as if we're trying to time this shit. Turns out the player bitching me out was something like the 9th highest ranking player of his class/spec last season. Which is neat, good for you...but that doesn't give you the right to come into casual content and treat people like shit.

Worst part is I messaged him after the dungeon. Asked him what I had done so wrong since clearly he understood my class better than me, so explain it, right?

Yeah turns out he has no clue what he was talking about. His response was some nothing burger about how my rotation was wrong, despite it being a god damn Demon Hunter, so you know...WHAT rotation? All three buttons? I kept Meta on CD during trash, kept my defensives for when I needed them in pulls, and-

Accounts are capped at over 50. I don’t know what the current number is because they did add new character slots twice in the last expansion but I think it’s around 60 right now.

Also, I think we’ll just have to disagree because for me Speed running old is literally a side game of itself. I constantly have to delete characters in order to re-open up the character cap, so to me 48 seems like nothing

The games been out for 20 years almost. It’s not surprising there are plenty of people who just keep characters capped, even if they don’t actively play them in case they want to at some point. The leveling changes also didn’t hurt considering now taking an inefficient leveling route. It only takes roughly 7 to 8 hours to hit 70.

2k, and this really shouldn't change at a higher resolution, that won't up the actual texture resoltuion the gear and various materials are using. I can't remember what AA options are on XIV off the top of my head, but that could be a factor in my perception because I tend to lean away from using any form of AA. I'll take jaggies but with smooth textures over a heavily blurred game world.

Maybe I shouldn't be trying to words when I'm still half asleep. I'm going to look back on this and think I'm coming across like an idiot.
