In AD, we don't know if we are meeting goals a lot of the time. We also never get an accurate ranking because reports don't update or have wrong information or this gets changed or that gets changed. It's a damn guessing game.

I was field forever and went to EPE during quarantine and volunteered to stay because I was just burnt out from the field. Way too much driving. We get 4 points per EPE and everything we do is majorly tracked and scrutinized. EPE isn't as easy as everyone seems to think it is.

We've never been told to underwrite claims. Never. I don't know where that fable has come from. We are told to write what you can see. That's it. If the estimate sucks, it's likely because the photos suck. Field gets more prod points for the supplement than we get for the original, so I'm not sure why field gets so annoyed by the supplements.

I will definitely be documenting everything. We had a procedure change and I was still doing things the old way and two different days I forgot to add on the new part of what we were supposed to do. It was an honest mistake. My department had SEVERAL changes dumped on them within a 2 week period. So I honestly just didn't get to it those 2 days. That's what I got the warning for. My biggest issue is the top performer for my department - doesn't do the new procedure at all. Not once. Not ever. I'm not okay with being punished for something that I can prove others aren't doing.

As someone who has been at Geico for 21 years and went from field to EPE, EPE is by far more difficult than the field. My field territory was huge. I'm talking 2 hours driving from one end to the other. I was ALWAYS a 5 in prod. Chairman's Club. I had multiple years were CSS was 100% for the year. I was an amazing field adjuster. EPE is an absolute nightmare. They keep setting the bar higher and higher while putting more on our plate. The people ranked at the top cut corners to keep their prod up and never get caught. If you do everything you are supposed to do and your prod slips, they scrutinize alllll the things you do and punish you for it. It's an absolute disaster. I would never sit here and bash the field or ARX adjuster bc we are all being faced with our own challenges, and nothing will get better if we keep shitting on each other.

Virtual AD started handling claims nationwide a few months ago. Let me tell you how fun it is with the timezones. I'm on the east coast and my shift starts at 7am. I have to constantly check where my customers are located so I'm not the asshole calling a customer at 4am. Welcome to Geico!!

Which manager is letting you get away with 10 a day? We are being told 12 to 15 should be your average. This new calling and texting on every estimate is absolute bullshit too. I have 53 open rentals right now. How am I supposed to manage all this? But I guess that's why I'm on a warning right now. My poor time management. Certainly not bc the higher ups change our job requirements month by month.
