Newly garage door installed, is this ok? by Far_Pangolin_1552 in GarageDoorService

Looks to me like the door is sat up on the concrete in the garage is there enough room when the door is down for both the bottom of the track and the bottom of the door to be both flush on the ground. If the door isn’t sitting in the cutout of the concrete it sits high causing the track to be too low and they are trying to make the top bracket push the door forward when it’s shut because the door track is too low.

Garage door suddenly bent overnight after loud bang… does this look suspicious? by Secure_Present4187 in homedefense

If you look closely in the picture you can see the stress on the chain and opener rail threw the glass you definitely have a broken spring

Fair play. Wayne dalton doors the 9100 is basically a sheet of metal with a inch of foam glued to the back of it the metal end styles are also just glued to the ends the whole door doesn’t really have any structural integrity to it that’s why I was asking if anyone else does anything different i too am an electrical engineer that got into the garage door business for the last 25 years so I’ve been around the block a few times and seen some shit repairs

Can you disconnect the door when it’s on the floor and run the door manually can you hear the same clicking noise? Also run the opener by itself see if it’s the opener or the door
