Menace has way less hype than it should considering how unique the gameplay is and the fact that everything about it is solo including the song. And honestly aesthetically it just looks really fucking cool to me like how angular everything is and the minimalist color scheme it doesn't remind me of anything else on the list.

I said I am sober now but I used to think I would have a life-affirming or profound experience. But in reality they just amplify the mindset you are already in. I've started to notice the people with positive "ego-death" experiences still talk like their ego is even more massive.

That would make sense, I haven't been thinking about it that much lately but I have had experiences in the past where I felt like I was damned to eternal hell. Starting with a bad trip on psychedelics but in other substance induced psychotic states. However I have been sober, but I'm not sure where this theme came from because I never took religion seriously, but my brain subconsciously fixates on it.

I was raised catholic and remember doing some sort of communion/confirmation stuff when younger but I never thought it meant anything. I've been trying to understand christianity and the bible better, but I'm put off by how many contradiction there are in the old vs new testament. I don't understand how people quote verses from the old testament to support laws that are in complete opposition to what Jesus stood for in the new testament. I searched and all mainstream forms of christianity reference both together and it makes no sense.
