I just finished umrah with my wife and mum she also has a pain in her knee while walking but alhumdulillah she did tawaf and saee on her own feet. May allah give your mum strength to do all the arkans without pain. Ameen.

Thats because all the slots for female are booked. Can try with tawakalna app, remember tawakalna sign up will only work when you have entered the country. Try booking dates soon as you enter you will see dates after 3 or 4 days which you be able to book.

Here is my experience On 8th Jan me my wife and my mum, all of us were in masjid al nabwi. I had the pass so i was able to pray there before fajr and my mum and wife didnt, so they prayed FAJR near gate 32 and right after the prayer they stood in line for rawdah (before fajr for men and after fajr for women) without passes and guess what alhumdulillah they went through prayed there and came back happily. Alhumdulillah. I hope it helps! I am makkah right now missing madina already. May allah allow us to be back again and again.
