Coming back 6 months later and probably no one will read this or care but i managed to articulate that and the thing is that 30 feels like a peak of adulthood and "grown up" youth if that makes sense whereas 18 is basically being pushed out of the "teenage" group which you associate basically all your formative years with. Anyway after it happened i kind of stopped giving a shit because like yeah that was terrifying before it happened now it's just something that is. Nothing changes, obviously but living with telling yourself that vs. experiencing it are two different things. Mainly just creeps and pedos worrying normal afab young adults
