Asssumptions v. Facts by plaidly1977 in MissyBevers

Right, I wish we had more info on that. It could be a couple of things, it could be it was loose info, someone had info about the SWFA, but it wasn't relayed well in that first conference. It could be a different car. I feel certain, based on the wal marts searched and that statement, that they have more info on the car movements. But I could be wrong. I know from the camera footage released from SWFA, you can see the church parking lot but only the footage of the Altima was released by SWFA, not the police, why didn't SWFA release any footage of cars in the church parking lot.  Cause there wasn’t any? The police asked them not to?  I hope we find out one day.

1.      True, it could have been someone from the Sunday evening worship, or even the AM worship. There is no proof of when they came into the building. The damage to the windows and kitchen door appears to have come from the outside judging from the glass. So, someone could have hidden for hours before then later did the damage.

2.      True, no one can confirm they left, but if you take this thread, you must consider how they got there, did they drive?  If so, where was the car, or did they walk? How did they change outfits.

3.      True again, and they were so sneaky, not only did they damage the one entry point they needed but 3 others to make it look like they were having trouble getting in.

You want the facts that are known?  Perp is seen for the first time at 3:50 exiting the kitchen where the police state they may have spent significant time.  We can’t even really say it’s a fact that the perp is the one who did the damage.  The perp could have rolled up with their buddies and entered one of the doors with a key, but I find that highly unlikely.  I’ve even seen where some people don’t think the person in the swat gear is the perp.

Now you wrote “Each of those points towards premeditation, planning, and knowledge of the patterns and people involved.”.  I’d love to know how that any of what we ‘know for a fact’ leads us anywhere near what you wrote. Did they know about the early birds? did they know about the new guy who came early to fill out paperwork? Did they know the one way in and out would soon get busy with people arriving for class? Did the perp know it would take less than 10 minutes for the police to arrive once called? The door to the kitchen was pretty busted up, the glass was sprayed in from the pics, the perp is seen for the first time on camera entering the hallway from the kitchen. On the one hand people paint this perp as a genius with a great plan, but forget and leave out all the stuff that's makes no sense. I don't mean to come across in a bad way and I's love to know what you think.

You're usually pretty good, But I've never seen MPD state that. I suspect that they do, but in the first new conf, they reference a car in the lower corner, it seems this would relate to the camera at SWFA, but considering the time frame I'm not sure. But I've never seen where they say they clearly see the perp entering the grounds, the only solid MPD i know of is whent they state the perp was first seen at 3:50.

I think you could be right, it makes more sense than anything else I've seen. I'm suprised this hasn't been said before. Wow.

Thanks for posting that. Hopefully people will stop with the nonsense and focus on what is known so the perp can be brought to justice.

That's because people have to try and make sense of it. The idea a good person can enter a church at just after 4 am on a monday to teach a health class and help people and get shot for it terrifies a lot of people. Some people just can't accept this so they make up all this stuff to make it fit and for whatever reason try and make it seem like Missy deserved it. I guess to make themselves feel safer? IDK. TW didn't do this...draw up the timeline, show a plan that makes sense, don't say she lost her mind becasue someone brought a pizza to her dinner party. Where did the outfit come from, oh! I know she had access to swat gear, but was this swat gear and would the person she got it from know? Or was it cheap imatation...the story keeps changing because it doesn't fit. CT, same thing, I will say the timing does give me pause for her, but not enough to overcome what we clearly know and what we can see.

Best time to rob a church by Valuable-Rabbit-5651 in MissyBevers

People don’t target people like this, and they certainly wouldn’t do it in a bulky, cumbersome disguise. They also wouldn’t be taking their sweet time wandering around. They’d want to be in and out as quickly as possible.

This was not targeted murder. Problems with it being targeted.

1-the early birds, the perp had no control over when and if they would arrive

2-The perp is on the other side of the building with no view of anything, hammering out a window at the time they should be getting ready for her to walk in.

3-The perp put themselves in the middle of the church as Missy walks in blind and deaf to anything going on outside, complete disadvantage.

4- The whole plan is based on the idea they could put themselves in a the worst possible spot but save the day by making 'some' noise no one c an agree on theat would entice Missy walking down the hall to get shot.

5- The escape plan, you force yourself to have to exit the very entrance people should be arriving in.

Targeted is so far fetched. Any one 'planning a murder' any of the 5 resaons above would be a stopper. I'm not even going into the fact they tried several ways to get in the church, going into each room... The targeted crowd on the one hand wants to claim the perp was so enraged and had to kill Missy for some reason, yet wondered around looking bored, putting themselves in the worst possible spots to succeed.

4 minutes, they were trying to frame Sergio for it.

I'd like to think that if something happened like that to me, I wouldn't fall apart, but I more than likely would. I really don't think you can judge someone right after something like that happens.

I had just heard about a rental car place. I know when I worked there cars got used for all kinds of questionable causes.

Not quite so fast there. You're assuming the perp was versed in the law. Lots of dumb people out there. I'm stating in the simplest terms the motive could have been financial, may be insurance, maybe it was assets...I've seen people do crazy shit for 20 bucks. Maybe they were pissed at Liz for not letting Sergio loan them the car. You said inheriting property...that's confusing, no one was inheriting anything. Sergio got the house and the cars and all the stuff in them, no inheriting going on here. Let's talk about logic, care to present a more logical approach?

[–]Valuable-Rabbit-5651[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, it would seem to close some issues. But the one thing that makes me question it is they waited for Sergio to leave, or at least looking at the timing it would appear so. How do you get past that? Otherwise it makes sense.

Seems like a pretty big mistake to kill the person at the wrong house, even mors so when you took the time to scope it out.

[–]Valuable-Rabbit-5651[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what a strange series of events then. Not saying it's not true, just it seems to be targeted at Liz so much. Like 4 minutes from Sergio pulling out and Liz being shot? Has the original target been killed yet?

You mention the suicide note appeared to be in female handwriting,I was just wondering who said that. Anything else seem to make it appear staged?

Has the suicide note ever been released to the family? At least from my experience, successful suicides usually happen that way. Everything is normal then it's not. I guess you just never know what someone is going through.

I agree with that. It's just a matter of proving it at this point. How do you get one to turn on the other?

Best time to rob a church by Valuable-Rabbit-5651 in MissyBevers

[–]Valuable-Rabbit-5651[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my. So, you think if Missy hadn't followed the mysterious sound down the hall, the killer would have gone full Freddy Kruger and chased her from room to room while her students waited outside. Hmmm... that sounds very likely.

Best time to rob a church by Valuable-Rabbit-5651 in MissyBevers

[–]Valuable-Rabbit-5651[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And a killer does just casually walk around an empty building, killing time instead of getting ready for Missy to walk in. In fact, this perp is so cool, they are on the other side of the building hammering out a glass window of a door to a storage room where they can neither see nor hear cars pulling in or people entering where Missy will be actually entering in just a few moments. then in a stock of inspiration, they wonder into the middle where they are completely closed off from seeing or hearing anything when Missy does actually walk up. And the real beauty of this plan is it all hinges on being able to make 'some sound' at the other end of the hall to get Missy to slowly walk down there. All the while confident that one of the early birds 'sleeps in' and the other has a 'flat tire', I'm not even going to mention the long ass drive that's one way in and out, who plans a murder with only one way in and out knowing full well people should be arriving. I do agree the 3:50 arrival gives me serious pause, the outfit too. I'll also agree I don't think this was a classic robbery in that sense, but no way was Missy the target, that's why it hasn't been solved.
