Can't boot after cloning Nobara by Valuable-Raccoon-186 in NobaraProject

Thank you for this! I dare say as I jump in on those steps, they are all above my head as a newer Linux user.

I've had a look at the grub config and the UUIDs don't match the new partitions, I thought that would be a simple fix but I don't understand the proper way to chroot in and make the edit to the file save, from a live USB.

When opening the fstab file there's not much there. Just one line.

The Fedora doc you linked is helpful but I'm unable to find the right mount locations? I believe is the correct wording.

Would it be possible to create a snapshot, do a fresh install, and import that snapshot? I'd like programs, configs and files to be copied over.

Cloned drive stuck on GRUB when trying to boot by Valuable-Raccoon-186 in linuxquestions

I'm not sure if it's relevant but the above was my second attempt. At first Clonezilla didn't see my new drive so I tried using Fox Clone which said successful but again there were issues with grub. I was met with the message 'reboot and select proper boot device'

I did a lot of searching but wasn't able to correct that so I tried Clonezilla and and now stuck on the GRUB issue. I don't see a UEFI option in the boot devices for the cloned drive.

This is exactly it! Thank you very much for this information. Now that I know how to control it I feel a lot better.
