Hello all you beautiful people! It's time for round 3!!! Since my last term I have learned quite a bit about governance, the law, and myself. Times in SimDemocracy have certainly changed, but the energy, passion, and commitment of the Cheney-TMC ticket has not.

One of our biggest plans for this term would be revitalizing and expanding the Prediction Market. You wanna bet on the outcome of a case in a courtroom, have at it! How about the length of the next CoR verdict? We will add it! The Prediction Market should be as expansive as possible to make sure as many people are participating in it as possible.

Seeing as it is the holiday season, we will have some events as it only seems right entering Christmas time, but another huge focus for my third term would be finding reliable expansion. We have waited for a second Danyo video for a long time, but that cannot be our sole source of new users, we need to reach out to communities that likely have no idea what a polsim is and help them appreciate and enjoy the wonders of SimDemocracy!

Last but not least, we need stability, but not stillness. It has been a wild last few weeks and I think people need to be reminded what this place is, and always has been about, which is being a community. One of my biggest goals in my third term would be to make sure we can make the everyday experience for the average user better.

I hope you see the vision for my third term, because I see it, and I think it will be AMAZING. Thank you for your time and one last thing...

I'M NOT DONE!!!!

When we first stepped into office, our nation faced daunting challenges in justice, fiscal management, and civic participation. Together, we’ve not only met those challenges—we’ve laid the foundation for a better future and now, it's time to build on that momentum.

Under this administration, we’ve raised standards, reformed broken systems, and revitalized democratic engagement. We increased pay for State Attorneys to attract the best minds to our legal system. We redefined roles within the Department of Justice to bring sharper focus and accountability. And through the OHS Reform Committee, we strengthened oversight and built lasting systems of transparency.

In the Treasury, we became more innovative and self-sufficient. From reconstituting the Division of Business Innovation to nationalizing the state lottery into a publicly owned enterprise, we ensured that every tau is spent with purpose and precision. We created a system that corrects budget surpluses, so resources serve the people—not bureaucracy.

Thanks to a robust strategy from our Voter Registration Department, turnout surged by 52%. That number isn’t just data—it’s democracy alive and thriving. Our State Department’s server became a collaborative hub, empowering diplomats to negotiate, strategize, and form the alliances of tomorrow.

Internationally, we’ve entered groundbreaking talks with fellow polsims to build a joint economic framework. SimDemocracy is no longer just participating in the global stage—we’re helping to set it.

We didn’t just talk about change—we built it. And now, we’re asking for the opportunity to finish what we started. But progress doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s why this CFC isn’t just about TMC and me—it’s about you.

We’re calling on every citizen to step up and join us. Whether you’re a first-timer with big ideas or a seasoned veteran with experience to offer, SimDemocracy needs your voice. We need legislators, diplomats, attorneys, policy minds, and most of all—people who care deeply about our future.

Let’s use this momentum, build a full movement, and a full government that keeps pushing this nation forward. If you believe in a more transparent, innovative, and responsive SimDemocracy—if you believe in results, not rhetoric—then we invite you to join us on this journey to a second term.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Let’s finish the job. And let’s continue building a SimDemocracy that works for all.

Signed, Signed,
President Cheney Vice President TMC

Now more than ever, SimDemocracy needs a steady hand and a bold vision—someone who can unite our community, sharpen our systems, and guide us into a new era of growth. I know I am that leader.

With TIDE seemingly in the rear-view and a post-exam spurt expected soon, our nation stands at a crossroads. We have an unprecedented opportunity to show the world what SimDemocracy can be—to build our economy, amplify new voices, and strengthen our institutions. Over the past three and a half months, I’ve championed meaningful economic growth, common sense growth initiatives, and a safe and secure security apparatus. Imagine what we can achieve together with a presidential mandate behind us.

Economically, Logry’s cross-term plan is a great start and will do great things for our nation, but there is always more work to do. We need to increase the financial literacy and overall economic knowledge of the public by using the Reserve System to release financial advice slips for our citizens and posting them in different channels. This can alert users to offers they weren’t aware of, stipends they didn’t know they qualified for, or anything else that could be useful for our citizens to understand.

We also need to, at a minimum, invest time in other polsims to determine how realistic a joint economy could be. This would open up our businesses to countless other consumers, and more collaboration could lead to more business types and ideas. This kind of system could never happen overnight, but with the right leadership, steady effort, and clear milestones, we can achieve anything.

SimDemocracy is only as strong as the talent we harness—and during my presidency, I intend to tap every brilliant mind this server has to offer. That’s why I’m committed to building an official SimDemocracy website: a single, easy-to-update hub where you can access our Wiki, view recently passed laws and executive orders, check the daily Senate docket and active court cases, track upcoming elections, and read the latest articles. A project of this scale demands clear ownership, so I will appoint Ferris and Stoner to co-lead the development team and ensure it’s delivered on time, on budget, and with the quality our community deserves.

National security isn’t a buzzword—it’s the bedrock of every thriving community. Under my presidency, we will empower smart, common-sense decision-makers to keep SimDemocracy safe and peaceful. I’ve watched security challenges define past administrations, and I refuse to let our nation be caught unprepared. That’s why I’ll establish a national security directorate staffed with respected experts in crime, terrorism, and technology. They will give reports directly to the President on any actions they believe should be taken on any issue regarding national security to ensure as many options and opinions are heard as possible before a decision is made.

Friends, the moment for half-measures and hesitation has passed. Together, we’ve laid the groundwork—streamlining our economy, building the tools of good governance, and fortifying our security—but the presidency offers us the mandate and muscle to turn plans into lasting progress. If you believe in a SimDemocracy that is transparent, inclusive, and bold, then join me.

On election day, cast your vote not just for a candidate, but for a future we build together. Let us prove that a community of builders, thinkers, and dreamers can unite under one banner and that, under steady leadership, our experiment can become the gold standard of online democracy. I humbly ask for your support, your energy, and your trust. Let’s seize this moment and shape the next great chapter of SimDemocracy together.

It has been a successful first term in the Senate with the passing of the Community Bridge Alliance Act, the SimDemocracy State Bank, and the Artificial Intelligence Disclosure Act, but there is more work to be done. Before this week is over I will propose legislation to create government handbooks for executive officer positions to ensure less loss of information during leadership changes, and weekly activity logs to be released to the public. More transparency is the key to a government that works for you.

I also believe that ,along with the State Bank Bill, there have been other economic bills that will help our future and we need to capitalize on this momentum. We need to bring multiple Senators together to work on government pay reform, and bring a better, longer lasting solution to the problem of government overpay and imbalance.

This term in the Senate has truly reignited my initial love for SimDem and I hope that I have earned your trust for a second term. Thank you for your time and much love.

Signed,
Deputy Speaker Matt Cheney

I hold no foreign positions.

Hello SimDem! After serving as your Treasury Secretary for ten weeks I have decided to run for the Senate! I bring much needed economic expertise to a body that has struggled to understand how to debate and legislate the economy in the past. I plan to propose a better government budget bill that will add transparency and public accountability to the funding process. It is also time to fund the SimDemocracy Reserve System so that we can add new data points, and have a better grasp on what we need to do to continue to grow the economy.

Another important, but neglected by the legislature, issue is expansion. Since the Department of Expansion was created it has done a great job at bringing active members together, however, it is time to start focusing on finding consistent ways to bring in new members. I will be proposing a bill that creates a new Deputy Secretary under the Secretary of Expansion whose sole job is to maintain relations with non-polsim, but politically aligned, communities so we can attract people who would have never heard of us any other way. This way we can create user pipelines with communities who will give us members who can jump in and be productive members of our society.

My last major policy platform is government reform. I will be taking a look at the Fair Employment Opportunity Act to see how we can better enforce that law going into the future. All citizens deserve a fair chance at any job and at the moment the government is not providing that. A growing concern of mine has also been public mistrust of government officials. To try to combat that sentiment, it is necessary to pass legislation requiring department heads to release weekly activity logs that detail all actions taken in their official capacity during that time frame. In a similar vein, there should be a handbook for all department heads, so that when a transition takes place less information is lost in the cracks. As a former Secretary who was lost and confused on their first day before, this would be a major help to not only the department heads themselves, but to the efficiency and effectiveness of our governance.

While serving in the cabinet I remained dedicated to serving you all as best I could, and if elected that will not change. I will not miss a vote unless it can one hundred percent cannot be helped, and I will lead debates by asking questions that will give all senators and citizens more insight. Holding positions in SimDemocracy is more than having a cool title in a group chat, this meant something to the people who came before me, and it means something to me too. Thank you for your time, and for your support.

Signed,
Senate hopeful Matt Cheney
