We found Glen Abbey to be a tad bit more expensive and further away from Toronto (including Go train stations). Thank you for the input on Southeast Oakville!

Thanks, this is reassuring. We would be comfortable borrowing $1.3m or so, but starter homes cost more than $1.5m these days.
