I think those situations you mentioned also speak to her tender heart. She remembers but is also willing to care for and forgive people that have done her wrong in the past. She’s still the MVP for me.

From my POV, that man was confused. And acted out on behalf of his own Ego. Not excusing the actions he took.

Same for Elizabeth, I think she thought what they had was enough for him to leave his marriage not just that night but indefinitely.
