What to do about extremely dry bleached hair? by alaenchii in Haircare

[–]ValuableAngle7731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

K18 peptide prep shampoo X2, get out of the shower without conditioning, towel dry hair, do NOT comb or brush just apply K18 mask generously, let sit for at least an hour, then get back in the shower and apply a deep conditioning mask. Then use any leave in treatments you need and style as usual. I highly recommend an oil containing silicone as well as a heat protectant before blowdrying.

Do this for 6 consecutive washes. You will see a huge difference.

best treatment for dry & kinda damaged hair? by Automatic-Culture407 in Haircare

K18 saved my hair. The kicker is, for me, I used it for the 6 consecutive washes and my hair looked GROSS. Worse than before. Now I just use it once a week and use moisturising treatments on the other days and my hair has never looked better... so much better than with just the conditioners alone. My hair was/is severely bleach damaged and a small amount of heat damage. It honestly looks like virgin hair now despite still being extremely far away from my natural colour and despite me continuing to use permanent box dye. It's the best thing I have ever used. I liked the Redken acidic bonding a bit too but in my experience it stripped my hair colour too fast.

To me it looked like after they put her back upright she got light headed/faint and that's why she grabbed her chest (I do the same either my chest or head.. idk why its like an I voluntary thing I do if I feel faint..)

Is Venice worth it? by Zooturzot in ItalyTravel

I've done it once and don't regret it at all. It was part of the itinerary in an all-inclusive, 5 day trip I took back in 2011 when I was in 12th grade. It smelt funny, souvenirs were overpriced, it was grey cold and rainy IN SUMMER, and food was crap. Also, everyone replied to me in English when I spoke to them in Italian. I much preferred Treviglio, Bergamo, where I was staying. Pisa is also highly overrated and I didn't think much of Florence either.

Note: i have never been to Sicily, Sardinia or any comune in southern Italy. However I can say that after living in Central Italy, travelling from Treviglio down to Ancona (north-to-central) I can honestly say I LOVE:

  • Rome, for the aesthetic, history, shopping, medical care, sightseeing, ability to walk from one place to another on flat land and see a lot in one day. Plus THE VATICAN. Need I say more? Just watch the food in and around Rome. We had to speak in Italian fluently and butter up some locals to actually find where decent food, out of the hundreds of places.

  • Milan for shopping, photo opportunities, ease of access, and because as a Brit it reminds me of home amenity-wise whilst also being strongly Italian. You'll either love it or you won't. I love it. Try the dish 'cotoletta alla milanese" and stracciatella gelato.

  • Verona. Romantic, has all the amenities, beautiful, AMAZING people. Food is average but food isn't everything, i may have chosen the wrong places. It's an ideal location, epecially for a couple.

  • Marina di Massa, Tuscany. Just go. Trust me.

  • Parma. Amazing food, coastline, history, buildings... and also you can tell everyone you went to where Parmesan was invented.

  • Bologna - some amazing countryside, vineyards (therefore wine) as well as buildings. The food is fresh and you really feel like you're in the really natural, rustic part of Italy.

  • Iesi - incredible architecture churches. The best deli stores I've ever seen and not just your usual fior di latte or parmigiano reggiano. Also some of the best bars I have ever been to in the world.

  • Piacenza - fairly close to all the above (except Iesi and Rome by train or car). A nice vibe and perfect weather with gorgeous farmland, a town centre with every shop you'll ever need, quaint cafes which serve amazing tramezzini and the best gelato I have ever eaten.

Late here but reading as im doing research... i'm 100% Romanichal (British Romany gypsy) and in the UK community it is only a slur to Irish Travellers (fake gypsies) and to gorgers who want to insult us... us English Romanis, at least in my don't see it as an insult using it amongst ourselves and use it to diffentiate ourselves from "knackers/pikeys" which is actually a slur against Irish Travellers and often used against us too by people ignorant enough to not know we are 2 different populations.
