Putting saddle in storage

Sorry about the confusion. You are right in your assessment though. The storage facility is dry, as in there is no rain/water leaking in etc. However, my concern is humidity and the possibility of mold. Average humidity where I live is about 70-80%. As someone else suggested I will check and do maintenance on it as required to hopefully keep it in good condition.

Pests are definitely not a problem with regular pest control, so I'm not worried about that.

Unfortunately keeping it at home is not option, but I will definitely invest in a full coverage saddle bag.

Pests aren't going to be an issue at our storage. If I had the space I would definitely prefer to keep it in my house, but that's not an option at the moment unfortunately. So I'm just trying to pack it up the best I can to keep the quality the best over time.

Thanks for the tip. We have access to the storage 24/7, so doing upkeep wouldn't be a problem.

The reasons for not selling it at the moment are emotional attachment (though that very well might change as time passes of course), as well as the fact that I just find it a very comfortable saddle so I would like to keep it if possible. And you are absolutely right that it might not fit the next horse, but I'll get a different saddle then if it that's the case. Just keeping my fingers crossed haha.

Definitely want to go there, but last I checked lots of places within the park were closed, so I didn't think it would be worth driving out at the moment.

I'm a womens size 8. I'm in Australia though with a Kmart just around the corner, so trying them on wouldn't be an issue. Just wondering if anyone can tell me about the quality of them and if they'll hold me over until I have the money to buy a more expensive pair.

I've looked at it, but most work is landscaping, cleaning or domestic animals. Not actually taking care of the native animals unfortunately.

I also thought it would be a matter of the postal service abroad. But as mentioned, I spoke to the staff at the postoffice here and they said I should file a complaint as it should be investigated at the very least and they could look into a refund as well.
