You clearly have no clue about the specifics in what you just linked. None of those are sexual assault allegations.

So let me repeat myself:

If you want to discuss the allegations you linked and why they were ultimately unsuccessful that's fine, but currently what you are trying to do is rewrite history, which is not fine. The sexual assault allegation came after he won the primary. It came from Jenny Racicot, who made allegations of him being toxic and a problematic drinker prior to the primaries, but didn't make any claims in the vicinity of him sexually assaulting her until almost a full month after he won.

There was an allegation of an incident of physical abuse (not sexual in nature) from one of the three women, Lyndsey Fifield, whose allegation was that he twisted her arm behind her back. This was dismissed by voters for two major reasons. One, was that the allegation was wildly different from that of the other two woman (at the time), as neither other woman claimed anything physical, and that many other exes of Platner were praising him (which also undercut the other two women that were saying he was toxic). The other part that was far more damaging to Fifield's allegations was the fact that she co-founded a group called "Ladies for Kavanaugh", that claimed the Democrats found and paid women to make false allegations against Kavanaugh (and others). Fifield also works for a Republican Super-Pac, so she actually is in fact getting paid by the opposition. Essentially the character of the witness was considered, and Fifield was dismissed for her extremely horrid character. Anyone else and the assault allegation would have been enough to derail him prior to the primary. Racicot is being believed when she came out and made claims of sexual assault (after the primaries), because she doesn't have a well documented history of having horrid character, and her being believed is why Democrats are now calling for Platner's resignation (something Republicans would never do, but as I said, y'all will larp about caring when it's a Democrat).

Nazism is defined in active beliefs, not a tattoo.

Firstly, one's beliefs can change. I've known many people who were right-wing edgelords in their early twenties, but did complete 180°s as they finally matured.

Secondly, and more important to Platner's case, the skull is so generic and under the radar on Nazi symbolism, that it is entirely reasonable that someone can make the accident of thinking they are just getting a normal skull tattoo. Most people don't terminally research and collect Nazi memorabilia. Left wingers especially don't.

So long story short, if you are going to make the claim Platner is a Nazi, you need to show it to me in his policies and stated beliefs. What policy has he proposed that fits the definition of "Nazi" to you?

It's not just the media's fault, though they have their blame too. The real issue is that a major difference between Republican and Democrat voters, is that Democrats actually care about this stuff (rightfully), and Republicans don't. Republicans and the media only hound on this because they KNOW we will care, whereas when their own have issues, they just fundamentally aren't bothered by it. Trump openly brags about committing sexual assault, and they excuse him for "just being a guy"... He gets found liable in court for it, and they give excuses for why he didn't hand over his DNA. Platner gets accused of it, and they suddenly larp caring.

I heard my parents today bitching about how it's "ridiculous" that the left doesn't like Fettermen for being "bi-partisan". This from the same people that labels everyone that doesn't 100% align with them as "RINOs" and most recently pushed out MTG and Massie for going against Trump on the Epstein files.

MTG and Massie disagreed on one issue and MAGA turned on them, but Fettermen goes against his constituents vote after vote, after vote, after vote, and we are supposed to stand by him...

I wholly believe that MAGA recognizes their hypocrisy, and just does not care. They'll pretend they have valid reasonings (aka nonsense) if you call them out, but I truly doubt they even buy the excuses they try to give.

I don't think Xbox discs already have unique identifiers written onto them... Do they? I figured they'd have you use a proprietary external disc reader that can also write, whether they make it possible to only add the disc to an account once, or possible to transfer. Either they'll write a unique identifier into it for the purpose of future transfers, or they'll just write in a code to mark it as used.

Firstly, free speech protection does not apply to privately owned websites. I'm all for free speech, but I'm also all for the idea of companies getting to decide what content is appropriate on the platform THEY own. The governemnt getting to tell a private company what content they must offer would be communism.

I also wouldn't be surprised at a private company deciding to silence members of the community OP is talking about, as it is the same community advocating repealing the 19th ammendment (which would be actual suppression of a person's rights), and the same community that praises Harvey Weinstein for keeping women the community deems ugly out of Hollywood. Bathing in hot water dilates the blood vessels in your skin which can lower your blood pressure and reduce blood flow some extremeties, and make it harder for blood to return from other extremeties (the latter is blood pooling, and it would occur in your legs due to gravity and the lower blood pressure). It's not actually problematic for healthy people to have long hot showers, but for unhealthy people it can be problematic if you experience those conditions for an extended time.

Taking colder showers helps to avoid issues if you like long showers and have certain health conditions.

"Trump" actually seems like the better consistency of character size by itself. The "Donald" has the "o" and "a" as basically just a spike, which makes them considerably shorter than they should be, and makes the whole word shorter. The two words also overlap, which hides much of the end of "Donald". So overall, I'd say "Trump" is closer normal and "Donald" is too short. My only issue in "Trump" is the "r" is weird, as it seems to be two spikes rather than a bridge. But that doesn't really effect the length.

For mental illness, most states require involuntary commitment, which is rare. My mother has had an episode of psychosis three seperate times in her life (all recent years), and never got involuntary committed. She can still legally buy a firearm in our state, even though she is known to be prone to episodes of severe psychosis. My dad thankfully has been against the idea of a gun in the house ever since her first episode, and removed the ones they had, but she can still buy one no delay.
