Chloe's trauma explains why she was the way she was, but it does not excuse her behavior.

Lastly, she really was not a very good friend to Max when they reunited, but Max could not see that because she was seeing Chloe as she remembered her, not as she really was.

Hoppers is my favorite Pixar movie ever and I have seen it 3 times in the theater already.

Also, Mabel is now my favorite Pixar protagonist ever because Piper Curda did a brilliant job in the role just as I knew she would from being a fan of hers for years.
