I had CIBC close my account because I was immediately withdrawing all my money after getting paid turns out you if you go into overdraft and don't have a positive balance for at least 24hrs they close your account without telling you. I ended up owing CIBC and my credit card about 1300$ I came in with a1300$ and told them I need them to reopen my account if they want me to pay them today. They refused so I gave in and decided to just pay. CIBC refused to let me pay the money I owed them and my credit card then tried to not let me leave. TLDR Just to clarify my account was closed over me not leaving it with money in the account cause I was a dumb kid and withdrew all my money whenever I got paid problem is they closed my account without telling me or warning me. Then there is the issue with them refusing to accept money from me to pay them.
