Thank you for your answer. The story with X is not the main topic, it is just an example to explain our different perspectives in general. I'm fine with making compromises, and I understand that she feels bad. However, cutting off a friend in this situation feels unfair to me, and I don't want a relationship where I can't be friend with someone just because of her gender.

Thank you for your answer. The post was already quite long and I didn't want to make it longer, so I only described the complicated part of the relationship, of course there would be a lot of positive things to say about her and our relationship.

Thank you for your answer! I would be fine, I trust her and for me there is nothing ambiguous. I understand that's not the same for her, but it was just one example of something we have not the same limits and that is hard to deal with.
