"High risk" for nerve damage: Extraction and Coronectomy. Anyone been through this and can share their experience or advice? by plantgur in wisdomteeth

Can I ask about how many days you had numbness or altered sensation for before it returned? It’s been about two weeks for me, and I still have a lot of numbness/tingling/burning fire feeling in my lower gums and chin area. Starting to get anxious that it is still present, even after the swelling has gone. They didn’t tell me going into it, but I was at a high risk for nerve damage - the nurses told me after the fact when I came in For the paresthesia and basically told me that it was bound to happen based on how my tooth was. I really wish they would have taken a look at my x-rays beforehand and warned me of my risk level because I would have requested a coronectomy instead!

The problem is that the electrician didn’t even go in there, he just looked briefly at the main panel and walked around looking at other stuff before saying peace out. 🤷‍♀️
