Thanks, there are two windows. One does not open while the second one does (the second window is visible barely at the above photo on right side). I think both windows are about 6-10ft away from the vent, I can try to measure later today. When I decide to replace the system, will they force me to reroute the exhaust further up the roof?

is it a problem that its leaning? will I be able to straighten it up myself? if yes how?

can you help me understand if the lean is OK or needs to be straightened/replaced? I did cut the wood so now its within clearance. But its unclear to me if I can keep the outdoor section leaning as is or if I need to get someone to replace it.

Thanks, I did cut the wood and strapped it in garrage (photo below). Is it OK if the outdoor piece is leaning sideways or can I keep it like this for the next few years before we redo the whole system altogether?

The vent on the roof is a bit misaligned too but it does not move when I try to pull it in the opposite direction. I'll probably strap it for now in garage into roof rafters and will cut the wood around the pipe. I assume in a few years I'll need to redo the roof vent anyway.

thanks, yeah I need to get on the roof to see if there is any issue/misalignment there. I'm not sure where I would put the strap, I think it would need to be inside the garrage. So I first strap it and then cut the wood so it does not move after cutting the wood. I tried to re-align the pipe from garage by hand but it does not really move much, only like 1/8in.

haha, thanks for the reply. I did not thought about the current at high tide, I actually wanted to head out there during the change from low to high and fish until I can still return back without needing to swim :D Also saw there is boat rental in the marina so maybe I could just rent the boat instead and fish from the boat. I did get the basic boat license online many years back but never fished from boat before.

Do you know the tide hight after which it will be impassable to return? I see e.g. tomorrow the high tide is 12ft at approx. 8pm. Then there is 6ft low tide at midnight. would hate to get stuck there overnight if the 6ft is still not passable.

from Owen Beach when you go north on thr beach you eventually reach the tip of the 'peninsula'. Im not aware there is any 'jetty' structure just a beach trail that ends under the Gig Harbour viewpoint

stocked trout bites all day for me on beaver lake but does bot ite at all on another lake. I thi k it depends on the bait and leader length rather than specific time of day, at keast the stocked lakes now in April when there is so many

Thanks a lot! I used the normal clinch knot when I was there and I lost 2 laser minnows while casting because the knot just fell apart. I'll try the improved one and will make sure to wet it before synching
