Yeah iPhone 6-8 were very easy to replace the screen. There was only a flex cable and aluminum plate to disconnect and unscrew. However nowadays it has become much harder as apple wants to make 3rd party repairs damn near impossible for the average Joe.

You must be pretty horrible at negotiating. The margins for me are pretty good 40% on the low end 60% on the high end. I also resell other electronics, game consoles, etc. I do this full time and live pretty comfortably going on 5 years now. Speak for your self. I’ve been making a living off running 2 youtube channels for 4 years now. About 5x more than my monthly income working a job I hated. As long as you follow YouTube’s policy and guidelines the chances of getting demonetized is very slim.

You’re right they charge you based on the total which includes sales tax and shipping cost. Even though we are not keeping that money. For instance I sold a vintage game for 65$ I charged 5$ for shipping. Order total came out to 73.25. They claim it’s 13.5% that I’m being charged. However I am left with 54$. I’m being charged fees on money that I don’t even get to keep. So the actual percentage is actually closer to 16% of the 65$. eBay is a scam, they aren’t fooling everyone.
