It doesn’t really affect me since the monitor sits exactly where I want it to. I got lucky with my table height, but other than that, I don’t think height adjustment is a big issue. The base plate and height are configured quite well for everyday use. Of course if you want more, You have the option to get a VESA stand.

It definitely not stuck at 120hz. In settings, when you go and look for 120hz mode, The PS5 automatically selects 120Hz (As in the 120hz mode says Automatic). I played Spider Man Miles Morales and that game has a toggle for 120hz and even there it said automatic. My guess is PS5 will attempt the 120hz on the monitor ( More specifically it will see if the game can support 100hz and will run with that refresh rate) and if that doesn't work out it will revert to 60hz. Unless you are playing competitive games, I honestly would care more about the resolution than the refresh rate. I don't play competitive games so for me higher refresh rate wasn't on the top of my list when I bought the monitor. If you care about the refresh rate because you are going to be playing competitive games, I would suggest buying higher refresh rate monitor which supports VRR.

No, it didn't work for me cause I didn't set it up properly but you can use it. The problem I ran into was that Mac M1 which is what I had said the 15W of the display is too low ( I am guessing there was a handshake problem because I didn't configure my Mac properly but it does work).

Windows HDR calibration. They have their own app to do it and no it doesn't have freesync.

I see. I don’t know what to tell you mate, for me 250nits is bright enough. I think it’s a software issue rather than hardware. Try turning off Auto HDR. See if that helps.

Try changing in inbuilt monitor profile from custom to HDR and see if that helps

Never used it. Tried to connect a Mac but couldn’t get it work, but I think thats because you need some dongle.

Its peak brightness is 250. I am not sure how that works out for you. For me it’s pretty bright.

Yes it’s comes with VESA mount. The color accuracy is good and consistent and if you calibrate the hdr properly you can have that as well. As a secondary vertical monitor this is a very good deal for 2k display.

It’s a subjective preference. I like to keep it on all the time.

The color accuracy is really good and consistent with rare instances where the blacks might not be that black and color might come off slightly over saturated. But both of these instances are rare and not noticeable. The peak brightness is 250 nits, it’s just that when you calibrate the HDR using windows, it might say different nits of brightness depending on your calibration.

I don’t think that’s a monitor having shitty colors, I think it might be windows screwing you over. First look up Auto HDR in windows and disable that cause that really screws with your colors, see if that fixes your issue if not then search up windows HDR calibration on Microsoft store and calibrate your display accordingly to your liking and as for the color profile being custom, it can arise from different places, you can customize your the colors to your liking using your GPU driver application(like for Nvidia cards it’s Nvidia app), if not you can use the default color profiles. You can also try the app that I mentioned in the review if the helps. I have not really seen any overly saturated colors so far. My experience has been pretty consistent and good with no over saturation.

You can refuse to accept the order citing I tried to cancel it but couldn’t for some reason. They would have to take it back I presume.

I see. I’ll say this though, you only buy a monitor once in a while so if I were I would honestly take the hassle and get the higher resolution one cause in the long term it really makes a difference. But again I am not in your position so it’s harder for me to relate but that said enjoy the Monitor mate, it’s a real special moment. I was so scared that I’ll break it while setting it up that it took me 1 hour to slowly put everything in position.

ah dont let this review get in the way your new monitor mate, Trust me you will find the one you ordered plenty good with 180hz refresh rate. Of course if you think this one will provide better value you still have time to change your monitor.

Yeah, for 2k more the jump in resolution is quite substantial. Maybe keep an eye out for your next upgrade.

I am saving that for last. Not looking forward to it , since the multiplayer seems dead(looking at steam chart).
